Another batman character in the style of 90s playmates action figures.Two face is another character that would make a great toy in that detailed Ninja Turtles style. I used the animated series as inspiration for the evil side of his face since the colors and grossness are the most appropriate. For the evil part of his suit, I figured it should be real messy and stitched together. I also borrowed the rat on the shoulder idea from the TMNT Rat King figure.
Having fun with a “what if” idea. What if Playmates produced Batman action figures in the style of the 80s/90s Ninja Turtles. Killer Croc is kind of an obvious choice for this concept. I always liked how the Turtles figures always had a theme that they really focused on with each design. With Croc I thought it would be fun to focus on his professional wrestling career and give him some tights, boots and a championship belt. The tights help add some bright colors to his design like many of the toys from that era had. Of course, he needs to have a lot of the little details you see on Playmates action figures such as his toes ripping out of his boots, and the silly tattoos on his arm and chest.
Sometimes it's just fun to draw with a pencil, paper and no plan.

Drew this a while ago and forgot to post it. As you can probably imagine, I was feeling tired around that time.

Sketch Dailies did Scarecrow yesterday so I drew the Batman: The Animated Series style Scarecrow. Done with real ink, then scanned in to Photoshop where I added the old paper texture and some shading
I drew this Scarecrow 3 years ago. I am still very proud of how it turned out. Originally it didn't get much attention on social media but suddenly 3 years later it's getting lots of attention on Tumblr. Got to love this platform for that.
I drew this last weekend as I obsessed over the szechuan sauce hysteria. I am still a bit shocked that McDonalds managed to take advantage of a Rick and Morty joke, created knock-off Rick and Morty posters to give away with sauce packets and it was a huge success. I am even more amazed at how the fans literally and metaphorically ate it up.

#inktober Jim Carrey has been talking about his philosophy on his own identity alot in interviews. It reminds me of the "we all wears masks" philosophy from The Mask.
Finally did an #inktober drawing while watching Jim Carrey on Norm MacDonald's show.
I Did a colorful illustration of an old Character (Brainy) that I created when I was about 11 years old. Also posted is the original comic book that I drew in ‘95. The premise of the comic has Brainy hosting a call-in advice show. People call in with there questions and he gives them crazy nonsense advice. Then he goes home where more non-sequiturs occur.
This is what it's been all about for me. Everything I have ever drawn has led to this. This is the one piece of art that is truly me. I'm not even kidding.This character actually came out of an idea I had to sketch out my own playmates style action figure designs. I have always been a fan of the TMNT and Toxic Crusaders toys since I was a kid. (I know, real unique of me) Anyway, I came up with several designs for these pizza mutants and this was the first. I'm actually so interested in the concept that I have been developing it into a comicbook. Assuming that I don't totally get bored of the concept I plan on making the comic a reality.
