When I was very little I used to think the Pikmin 1 death screen said "Olimar is clown" like the game was making fun of him for getting his ass beat, especially because early in the game he mentioned how his reputation would be ruined if he didn't survive, so it made sense to me that his reputation being ruined meant everyone would call him a clown
