I've been thinking a lot lately about how many trans women I've known who come to realize over time that they experience much more bottom dysphoria than they've consciously understood

I think this is partially a problem of trans women being fetishized, a trans woman's value being equated with her penis, but I think it's also partially a problem of availability. personally if something is difficult to attain then I have an internal reflex to unconsciously convince myself I don't want or need it. for this reason and many others it needs to be made easier

one time i was making potato soup and i needed broth for it but i was out of broth. but in my dog food cabinet there was a carton of chicken broth that i had bought for my dog. now the box did say HUMAN GRADE and the ingredients were just bog standard chicken broth. it did say something about joint health for dogs on there. but the ingredients were normal. i even compared the ingredients list to some normal person broth and they were the same. so i did put dog broth in that soup and it did taste completely normal. but i did use the dog broth.

The only thing more important to a kobold than their dragon is their dragon's progeny. It's a great occasion when a kobold's dragon has young, with much celebration and doting and extra pampering (on top of what the dragon already rightfully receives).

A successful laying of a clutch will usually be marked with a grand celebration and extra hunting raids to make sure the dragon feasts well after the ordeal. If this is their dragon's first clutch, the date will also often be noted and made into a local holiday among the kobolds.

While a mother dragon is naturally broody with her eggs, she still must hunt and eat and defend the lair, thus the most senior of her kobolds are tasked with protecting the nest while she's away. There are few honors greater than to be an Eggtender. The kobolds must be sure to keep the eggs not just protected, but adequately ventilated or heated, to the dragon's whims.

This tending does not end when the eggs hatch. Indeed, perhaps the eggtender's job becomes more important once the hatchlings break free. (Some particularly overzealous eggtenders may also aid any young who are having issues breaking free of the egg, though their dragon may wish to discourage this behavior, especially with larger clutches.) While precedence again falls to the mother dragon, the eggtender kobolds will often aid in keeping the whelps clean, warm, and fed.

If an eggtender is particularly lucky, one of the whelps will form what's known as a hatch-bond with them. When such a bond is formed, the mother dragon will often make tending to the whelp that eggtender's sole and exclusive duty. It is among the most sacred bonds a kobold can ever hope to forge. They will be loyal to their hatch-bonded dragon even above their original, and often (presuming the kobold lives long enough) be among the first of that new dragon's own warren.
