Hi! My name is Jennifer Lee and I’m a mixed media artist living and working in Columbus, Ohio.
After double majoring in Fine Art and History of Art at The Ohio State University (go Bucks!), I bounced around between bartending jobs for a few years before taking a “real job” at a medical company in 2010.
Taking that job turned out to be life-altering for me, and not in the way that I originally thought. I was incredibly unhappy, and for the first time started to think long-term about what I wanted to do with my life. After two and a half years of 8+ hours a day chained to a desk, painful commutes, and zero opportunity to let my creativity breathe, I left my job in order to pursue my one true love: art.
My mixed media work is inspired by the colors of nature, small miracles, and the beautiful things that surround us every single day. My style is vibrant, busy, colorful, and bohemian. In college, nearly every professor I had would make comments like “Tone it down” and “Less is more” when critiquing my work. Upon review of one final project, a professor even told me “I don’t know whether to fail you or give you an A,” because she was not a fan of my crazy style. I got the A, and have never stopped letting the colors flow freely.
My artwork is available as fine art prints and photographs in my Etsy shop: www.jenndalyn.etsy.com facebook.com/jenndalyn

Vivienne et Violette. My new babies. They just had their first bath and were so good and liked being wrapped up like burritos in dish towels afterwards. They are fluffy and teeny and adorable and two pure, good things in a chaotic world. #kittens #catsofinstagram #kittensofinstagram #kittenlove #614artists #614cats (at Columbus, Ohio) https://www.instagram.com/p/CA6HI-zA4WP/?igshid=c6yw6mde3rff
I don’t know this man. But I was walking my brother’s dogs in Schiller Park in Columbus and found a robin tangled in fishing line. I had no clue what to do. But I ran to the first couple on the closest bench to see if they had any sharp objects. And this guy gently held the bird and freed him and the three of us watched him fly away. There’s still quite a bit of good out there ❤️ #asseenincolumbus #614 #cbus #germanvillagecolumbus #schillerpark #columbusohio #columbus (at German Village) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_0XMdbgqe4/?igshid=16c98i313r4gr
