13 Reasons Why ( 2017—2020)

I finished the season so light spoilers!

Well I blew through all of 13RW s4. Apparently this will be very unpopular but I actually liked this season a lot?! Like, not more than 1&2 but miles and leaps more than season 3. It felt like a good ending and I guess I didn't love a certain character as much to be mad about what happened. It just felt so bad for my poor boy and I'm so glad they sent him off doing so much better.

Oh and I was able to keep the tears in but the second I saw Katherine Langford I started sobbing. I fell in love with this show because of how much I identitied with Hannah and I really feel like she was what was missing these the past two seasons. All and all, I'll miss the show. I loved all of those characters so much.

What they did to Justin is not only insulting to the character, but can you imagine how much of a gut-punch it must have been for Brandon? How the writers thought it was okay to kill a character off by giving him AIDS via unprotected gay sex in 2020, and then making an out and proud gay actor portray that... it's sickening and beyond me. How the show could go from season one to this is baffling.

it felt so weird considering the show has never touched on aids or any other diseases before justin’s diagnosis but also just in tv in general. i don’t think i’ve ever seen a teen show give a character aids to kill them off and it just taints the last season and leaves a bad taste in my mouth looking back at the show now.

i’ve only heard good things about umbrella academy but i never got past the first episode so i’ll rewatch that and i watched eyewitness such along time ago, but ill definitely rewatch it it was so good

Killing Eve (Hulu/AMC/BBC) and The Haunting of Hill House (Netflix) are two excellent shows. The former just wrapped up its third season, while the latter is an anthology series and is gearing up to release its second season later in the year, so season one is self-contained.

ok but seriously,, if they really wanted to do the whole aids thing with justin, they could have at least built it up during the season. and not had him die last minute in the finale straight after his diagnosis. it just felt so rushed and forced to just hurt the people that loved justin.
