Hi guys! I'm still alive, life gets in the way of this blog though. I'll just be posting when I can, perhaps mostly from other food anime for now, One Piece is a bit dry for food screenshots now. I will post every now and again though!

I need to get some emotions off my chest about Good Omens. So many conflicting ones. If anyone wants to chat about it, and maybe make a new friend, drop me a message?

This is the first time (apart from Dragon Age Inquisition and 'Solavellan Hell') that a piece of media has hurt so much. I've spent time crying over it, and no one IRL understands. Our boys, as we knew them, are gone. They didn't get to be happy together, as they were, and I don't know how to deal. They were my comfort characters.

Yes, I love the idea of Asa and Anthony, and that the husbands will find eachother in every universe, but in the end, it isn't the version of them we've become attached to. They're strangers as we didnt get enough time with them. Which I know, this whole ending had to be rushed, but still. I'm having trouble compartmentalising.

In the end, I am so happy to be part of this fandom, and even though i'm more of a lurker and don't make content, i'm sure we'll be alright in the end. Michael, David and everyone behind the scenes gave us something really special and I thank them.

I watched Good Omens 3 last night, and i'm still reeling. (More under the cut)

I think, like alot of people, i'm mourning what could have been, and that it had to be rushed. But - the actors, directors and everyone behind the scenes put so much heart into this. For us.

I may post my thoughts after i've had a few days to sit on the ending, but for now, I want to say - I loved the painting of Terry at the end. I choked up. The ending did feel like it was written by him, inherently "Pratchetty". Bittersweet and warm. The more I think about it, the more I know this is how it had to end, because those two loved humanity so much. It was, in a way, Ineffable.

I'll just leave one of my fave Pratchett quotes here, from The Hogfather -

"Humans need Fantasy to be Human. To be the place where the Falling Angel meets the Rising Ape"
