The entrance to an Ortopedia Quirantes in Little Havana Miami - the whole neighborhood was full of colors, even for an orthopedic supply store. I had breakfast that morning on one end of Calle Ocho, the tourist main street of the area, and walked many blocks to take it all in. This storefront fit the bill but also, bonus, was across the street from a church with big steps in the shade. That Miami sun is no joke

M. W. St. Joseph Grand Lodge on E. 11th - This building always stands out to me as it's one of a few still anchoring old East Austin on a street that's quickly becoming all boujee shops, restaurants and boutique hotels. --- In the past, I've truly enjoyed the daily drawing projects as they make me practice every day and prioritize drawing. Downside is I have a full time job and a freelance stream making the daily projects a challenge at times. --- SO now I'm going weekly. East Side Sundays, a drawing of a place in E. Austin each week. I love my neighborhood, I miss sharing the places within it and feel that right now is a time for documentation ✌️

49 - I still remember the morning I grabbed this pic. I was in the fast lane on I-35 heading to work. There was a car between me and this truck and I was desperate to not miss it.
