So I’ve been thinking about trans Huey today and I feel like he would be such a perfectionist regarding his gender. Like he’d probably make lists about different things, like things that give others euphoria and dysphoria and ways people figured it out and how people present differently. And he’d probably end up just constantly comparing himself to these lists that he made, some days in ways that he did “fit the criteria” for being trans and other days how he “fell short” depending on his mood that day. He’d also probably take those “am I trans” quizzes. He would think they’re completely stupid but would also love the feeling of validation when they said he was trans/the gender he wants to be. He would also wait to come out for so long even if he’s known for a while because “what if I’m actually wrong and faking it somehow” and he can’t stomach the thought of telling others and then having to go back and admit he was wrong about something so big

they do, but, unfortunately, they only look up eridian sources, and then half-assedly translate it to english

My headcanon is that Grace understands that he's getting hatemail but is unfazed by it (because 1. he is/was a teacher and kids can be mean; 2. enough eridians admire him and will try to keep him safe; and 3. he called someone a staggering waste of carbon. He can give as good as he takes.). But he finds the linguistic mixups endearing, or at least amusing
