hey jumblr! i'm going to my first shabbat service on saturday morning and i'm conflicted on what to wear. i haven't met with the rabbi yet as they said it would be a good idea to come to a shabbat service first, which is fine but i'm very nervous. it's a reform synagogue so i would assume less strict about wear but i'm transgender but am still very feminine passing since i haven't started hrt, so i don't want to wear a dress or skirt but feel odd showing up in a suit or suit jacket. i've tried googling but haven't found anything that really helps so any advice is greatly appreciated!! thank you all đ

reading about jewish history is depressing bc itâs like this endless cycle of, âwe were doing okay for a bit and even managed to partially integrate, but the political climate changed and weâre once again heavily persecuted if not outright murdered. ce la vie!âÂ
i want gentiles to understand that Diaspora jews are getting squirrely rn bc weâve been through this before and we can Tell the current period of relative acceptance is ending and weâre in for some shit.Â
I made this cute lil magen david and honestly Iâm obsessed
