Hi! I'm a trans disabled jew whose mentally ill & has a variety of other issues.

I'm turning 16 this month which means i need to start thinking about my future, college, getting a car, and a bunch of other stuff

It's also Jewish heritage month so if you'd like to donate & you're in a good financial place that wld be nice! Really love how ppl on here are capable of understanding why some trans women and bi men reclaim the f-slur because it’s often thrown violently at them, yet.. y’all cannot apply this common sense or empathy towards bi women who have told y’all they’ve had dyke thrown at them. That when they’re abused and raped that’s what they’re called. That even if they tell a homophobe that they’re bi and not a lesbian, it’s still slung at them. I really do not understand how you can hear this, and not offer the same understanding and empathy.

cis gays are extremly rude to trans people, consider them less queer or less gay than them, and then turn around and throw a fit when transgays say they like transhets better than cis gays. its almost like, we prefer the people who consider themselves equals to us...

Cis gays literally reguarly consider trans people less male or less female for being transgender and then think that trans heterosexuals are treated the same as cishets. it’s really funny to me the lack of awareness that cis gays have for transgender experiences. A cishet is not going to look at a straight trans man and see a straight man, they are going to see a lesbian. It’s not true, and it’s painful, and this is only amplified for trans women because of transmisogyny. But it’s how they see trans people. That is a signifigantly different experience from a cis heterosexual, even if you cut out all of the other issues of being transgender. Trans gays ally themselves with Trans hets for a reason. Our experiences are so much more similar than those of cis gays, and the solidarity of the trans experience is much stronger than any ones that cishets feel they have with transhets, and that that cis gays feel they have with trans gays. The experiences are warped by the trans experience, and should be treated as such and be respected. I love you, transhets. You are beyond important to me, you are so like me and also so different, and i am honered to share this community with you.

i’m kiandra, trans woman and second-generation haitan immigrant.  covid-19 has was super hard on my family financially.  my dad is disabled, so i’ve been working a 9-5 to help us make ends meet. on monday (5/3), i was coming home from work when a drunk driver slammed into the back of my car.   insurance will cover most of it, but i need money to put toward a new car.  paperwork, initial costs, etc.   i plan on getting a cheap used car.  this is urgent since i work every weekday and i can’t bum rides of my friends forever. please help if you can!
