jill stands in the middle of a clean room, a small dorm room of some sort… dark wood floors puddled with water. papers and neat books stack on a nice desk- a cross sits above a neatly made bed. there are no mirrors. dust covers everything, including the bed.

jill’s head is shaven down, and she has a deep bruise on her right cheek. she holds a rosary in one hand, close to her plain white shirt. she wears no makeup, and her eyes are deep sunken into her head.

and although she stares at jamie, it’s not a true gaze— like looking into a shadow and trying to make up a shape.
