The funniest thing for me about jumping on the AKOTSK fanfiction bandwagon is that I came here for Baelor and now have somehow been converted to Maekar along the drabbled way. Don't even know how, don't even know when but here I am swooning for an angry single dad with an EQ of a lobster tailed helmet 🤣 and i love it here.

Low key thinking about Aerion being the most similar to Maekar character wise. He just bends a little different and doesn't have a rock of a brother that Baelor is. Like he took all that insecurity from papa and turned it sharp but fragile as opposed to steely and unwieldy. And I think Maekar sees that, recgonises that. Feels under his skin that some of that is an extension of his own private gnarls. And then that "my boy" hit me different. And then that "he was a glad child" also hit me different. I'm sad now.
