I don't know if this will gain much attention but I really need help right now. I'm currently looking for a new job but I'm also at risk of not being able to pay my rent for August. I haven't been able to buy any real groceries because my entire paycheck went to paying July's rent, my internet and my phone. I haven't been in this position in a long time so I'm honestly embarrassed but I need assistance more.

✧ “You think too much.” “And you don't think enough.” “See? That's why we work. You think, I act. Between the two of us we might pass for one well-adjusted human.”
✧ “You can't fix everything with a smile and some charm, you know?” “But it works on you.” “… Well, I didn't say it never works.”
✧ “You don't need to walk me home, you know?” “Yeah, I know, but people are unpredictable and you… have a tendency to get lost in your head.” “That's a sweet way of calling me oblivious.” “If the shoe fits.”
✧ “Hold up. Where are you going?” “This guy said he knew a spot and I—“ “You decided to follow a complete stranger to an unknown location, without telling anyone, and… what, get kidnapped?” “It’s not like that, I know him from class.” “Oh, so an obnoxious stranger. Great.”
✧ “Stop acting like I’m some bumbling idiot!” “We both know you’re no idiot, but you’re out of your depth here. If I needed help with an english assignment, I’d ask you. When you need help with someone giving you trouble, you come to me. Got it?”

Places/Situations for your characters to wake up in after passing out
Got drugged, hit over the head, exhausted or just had a bit too much to drink? Doesn't always need to end up predictable! Have it lead into your character's next adventure!
on the floor of their room, with no idea how they got there
back home in their bed... and someone is sitting next to the bed
in a cage
in a random side alley with a cat or rat sniffing them
in the middle of the woods, with no further information on where they are
tied up in a dungeon
in an extremely expensive hotel that they definitely would not be able to afford
on a bench at a bus station with commuters giving awkward side glances and a random woman offering aspirin
on a dirty mattress in a typical, creepy basement with a single lightbulb and a genuinely nice guy who lives there and just sucks at interior design
in a freshly dug grave
at a human sacrifice... but as sacrifice or attendant?
in a well, with locals in the process of trying to fish them out
to rhythmic beeping of a heart monitor in a hospital room
in a stable, with a farmer poking them with a pitchfork and asking what they are doing here
"I wish there was a way for me to look inside your head and finally understand you."
"Maybe if you put your head closer to mine, you would get a glimpse. Say, like putting your lips on mine."
"Interesting suggestion. I could also try cracking your skull open."
"Well, isn't that sweet. You made a friend! And it appears they made you weak."
"Weak?"
"I mean... The old you would have known better than to bring prime blackmail material right under my nose."

(Dark) Botanical Settings/Elements 🌳🥀
a thick forest made up of thorny bushes, countless scraps of fabric and armor tangled in the thick of it from past victims
underwater plants that grab on if they are touched but rather than pulling down, they wait until their prey tires and drowns, sinking down to the ocean floor all by themselves
a cemetery where people are laid in bushes and by morning are fully cocooned in vines
deadly berries that, like a parasite, grow alongside the root of a bush with edible berries and imitate their berries perfectly, so that no one would know they are picking poison
dead trees stretching as far as you can see with flourishing wildlife in between
a cursed land in which everything that grows flourishes, but is deadly if consumed, until no creature can live there anymore and it becomes eerily silent, not even a bug to be heard
giant flesh eating plants growing on top of fortifications
plants that, once ingested, take on parasitic properties and grow inside their host until the host passes. the plant uses their body‘s nutrients to root down where they died and flourish quickly, roots intertwining with the host’s skeleton

200 words that describe light
Okay... so I've been thinking... werewolf slang.
What are some words or phrases that you think werewolves would use? Here's some ideas I've had:
"Stray" - a werewolf without a pack. Eg, 'There is a stray wandering around the edge of our territory'.
"Moon mad" - a werewolf who goes totally berserk under the light of the full moon. Eg, 'Some of us just can't control anymore, especially in old age. My old man went moon mad near the end.'
"Showing fur" - to transform either fully or partially into wolf form. Eg, 'Frank had to leave quick. He got angry and started showing fur.'
"Pup" - a minor insult typically coming from an older werewolf and directed at a younger one. Eg, 'Back up a step, pup. You're out of line'.
"Cub" - a werewolf child. Similar to the human word 'kid'. Eg, "Who's going to pick the cubs up from school?"
Feel free to add your own! I want this post to turn into a werewolf urban dictionary.
You guys are coming in hot and I'm so here for it.
!!!!!! YES PLEASE !!!!!!!
i added way too many terms and then got into the social networking of slang and other werewolf related stuff. i am Insane over this
“claw-taught” - to be flustered or angered by something that is minuscule to others. eg. “He’s all claw-taught over nothin’ again.”
“soft-paw” - to not teach or hold proper authority over others where it is expected. eg. “They’re too damn soft-pawed on those cubs.”
“packmate” (obviously y’all know this one) — referring to those in your pack, but can be used to identify a romantic or life partner; a general term for those you think of as close or family members. eg. “She’s my packmate. Back off.”
“packer” — the current leader or otherwise alpha of a pack. well respected, listened to, and valued. this position is commonly held for many years, and can be voted in, challenged by another, inherited, or earned through discussion. it all depends on the pack’s dynamic. eg. “She’s our packer.”
“timber” — a leader like the alpha, but specifically refers to the oldest and wisest of the pack. the timber is not always the current packer, but often was one in the past. eg. “My dad’s our packs timber.”
“rouger” — the main defender of the pack. this term is often referred to the physically strongest pack member(s); commonly the one who defends the cubs and timbers on a hunt, and the one who patrols the territory, especially at night or in times of conflict. a well respected and valued (if not slightly feared) member of the pack. eg. “She’s really stepped up to be our rouger since her brother passed.”
“kit” — teen aged werewolves. a neutral term, but older werewolves sometimes use it to indicate their immaturity. younger werewolves use it as a term of endearment. eg. “You’re just a kit, how much could you know?” “When will I become a kit like you?”
“littermates/litter”— a positive term self-referring to a group of similarly aged werewolves who grew up together. Littermates are typically related (siblings, cousins) but not always, and can also be used as a general term to describe a group of juvenile werewolves or cubs. ‘Litter’ refers specifically to a family’s young or newly born cubs, or the children of a pack/family. eg. “My littermates are coming over for dinner!” “The Wotjek’s pack has a new litter!”
“first fur” — the term for the first transformation. eg. “She hasn’t outgrown her first fur quite yet—she’s only a cub, you know.”
“speckle” — a term referring to either memory loss or age and generally refers to aged werewolves. can also refer to the silver or whitening of fur due to age. eg. “My mom’s speckles are so pretty :)”, “my gramps is getting speckled in his memory.”
“soul soil” — refers to land or territory used by, lived on, and or owned by a long lineage of werewolves; generational land. seen as sacred and well respected. eg. “Are you seriously trespassing on soul soil?!”
“terfbite” — a derogatory term for a werewolf who doesn’t respect land boundaries or rules. comparable to a flea. eg. “Your terfbiting is gonna cost you your life one of these days, you know that right?”
“maul/mauling/all in a maul” — an affectionate term used by werewolves that refers to playfighting between cubs, kits, or young werewolves. eg. “Oh, don’t mind them, my cubs are always mauling each other.”
“in a frenzy” — commonly refers to infighting between packmates or aggression during transformations, but also refers to an overly paranoid werewolf. eg. “He was all up in a frenzy last night…first furs are hard on cubs.” “My mom’s been frenzied about me hunting so late.”
“knaw” or “heeling” — interchangeable terms referring to annoying or bothering/nagging someone. “Heel” is also a common phrase used to command attention. eg. “God quit knawing me about it!” “my little brother won’t stop heeling me about hunting with us.” “Kits—heel!”
“puppy-eye” — affectionately used by adult werewolves to describe young love or an otherwise innocent outlook on life. eg. “She’s been all puppy-eyed over her mate.” “He’s kept his puppy eyes.”
“silvered” — a betrayer of the pack, an outcast. eg. “They silvered us moons ago.”
“doe ear” — refusal to listen to advice or wisdom, commonly from an older werewolf. eg. “Cubs turn your doe ears off for a minute would ya?”
“declaw” — a term meant to describe a werewolf who will not/cannot come to terms with their lycanthropy, one who outwardly rejects their lycanthropy, attempts to appear fully human due to social pressure, or otherwise detests their own canid legacy. Sympathetically used by other werewolves, but used negatively by humans. eg. “Pretending you’re declawed won’t make it go away.”
“feral”, “runt” — derogatory and offensive terms for the ‘other.’ “Feral” is specifically used by humans to describe werewolves or those with lycanthropic genes or traits. Some full-blood or prejudice werewolves use “runt” to specifically refer to a werewolf/human offspring or a werewolf with less lycanthropic genes, traits, or abilities (less fur, physically weaker or smaller, difficulty transforming, etc). “Runt” also refers to a werewolf unable to form or join a pack or one that denies needing a pack—their version of the ‘lone wolf’. some kits use the “runt” stereotype as a defense mechanism, but with maturity they typically reexamine their bias. eg. “Damn ferals keep hunting on my land...” “I can’t believe they‘ve got a runt in their litter—could you even imagine?” “You’re not a runt so quit acting like one!”
“beaded” — a positive term referring to a life bonded pair (romantic or platonic), and is referring to the gift/item their bond created. Werewolves have courting rituals like humans, and creating a piece of art to symbolise a bond between two is a common practice—some prefer beaded necklaces or anklets, rings, crocheted items, etc. these items also must withstand transformations, so it’s normal for them to be small and easy to carry on their person. eg. “Those two were beaded last fall.”
“two-tailed, twin-tailed” — a mischievous young werewolf, typically a cub or kit. “Twin-tailed” is used specifically for two or more or a group of mischievous werewolves. Can be used affectionately or negatively. eg. “Your damn two-tailer keeps scaring the elk!”, “Now, where do my little twin-tailers think they’re going at this hour?”
“long in the fang” — meaning either acting foolishly outside your bounds or referring to an ageing/elder werewolf, just depends on the context. eg. “You’re bein’ a little long in the fang, dontcha you think?” “Grandma’s been going a little long in the fang lately, huh?”
begging PLEADING for y’all to add to this please I’m on my KNEES GOD
