I'm back and talking about Link Click...
Why are we getting a new live-action adaptation? AND JAPANESE???
WHAT THE HELL IS THIS?????
LINK CLICK ALREADY HAS A LIVE-ACTION VERSION!!!
AND IT'S CHINESE, LIKE THE ORIGINAL WORK!!!
The thing that bothers me the most is the appearance... The clothes don't even try to look like the originals, and the actors' appearance bears no resemblance to the characters...
Someone will probably say, "But in the Chinese version, Lu Guang doesn't have white hair either."
I know...
But Biwenjun (The actor playing Lu Guang) really looks like the character in photos, in real life, and while acting in the series, despite the hair!
And in the last episode and in several promotional photos, he looks exactly like Lu Guang! They even invented a funny story to explain the change in appearance!
And Cheng Xiaoshi doesn't appear in the character at all!!!
I can only tell it's him because they kept his iconic jacket!!!
Why is he kind of reddish/light brown? Where's his tiny and characteristic ponytail? Where are the colors that contrast with Lu Guang's?
I know early and we only have some photos...
But I will judge... I love the Chinese version!
It's a completely different story but it has narrative, synergy, fun, them being gay, and much more! Besides, the original premise never intended to follow the animation!
And they created something with a beginning, middle, and end within the incredible universe of temporal possibilities of Link Click.
I hope the Japanese version isn't bad... But the appearances are already disappointing me, and Japanese live-action adaptations have a VERY bad track record...
