Oh, and who says you get the privilege of having another go with me?
Says I.
"You have a hand, do you not?â
And miss out on another go with you?
I-I, well, I, uhmâŠIâŠOhâŠ
âI have had an erection for the last twenty minutes, for no conceivable reason, and I expect someone to do something about it.â
Oh, boy.
Impeccable timing, you have!
One of the many great traits I posses.
Violet, matched his expression though with a touch more concern rather than a mischievous glint. âLangdale flareâ usually meant Joel had an idea and Violet followed making sure he didnât get arrested, killed or blown up. âI may be up for it,â she said, head turned, eyes narrowed. âDepends on what you had in mind.â
"Langdale flare." A smirk was now placed on the older Langdale's features; now indicating that he had something semi frowned upon in store for the two of them. His arm draped around his sister's shoulders protectively. "What makes you think I have anything in mind?" A false, hurt expression was now present. Oh how his sister knew him well. "How does a walk sound?"
Oh, boy.
Do I need a drink.
You rang?
Oh, come on. Itâs not that bad, is it?
So?
How do I look?
Like one of those disco balls you find at some tacky nightclub.
we run the night // joel + bailey
Out of all the things that Bailey was expecting to happen, Joel grabbing her hand and pulling her into the deserted alley was probably the last. Â It made the most sense, clearly he was just as impatient as she was, but for a split second, her survival instinct kicked in, and all she could think of was if it was some sort of trap. Â âWhat are you -â was all she was actually able to get out before she felt her back make contact with the brick wall behind her, slightly knocking the wind out of her, and she couldnât help but continue to smirk, biting down on her tongue so she didnât laugh out loud at herself for thinking this man was a threat, even for a split second. Â He was just a distraction, a device that she could use to relieve some of her - tension. Â And hey, maybe afterwords, heâd be willing to discuss the bartering of souls, but that was a thought she was going to have to put on the back burner, because there were more pressing matters at hand. Â âCouldnât have said it better myselfâ, she chuckled, head knocking back against the bricks with a small thud, eyes fluttering shut as the mans lips went to her neck. Â This was much better anyway, then, when they were done with their business, they could go on their own way without any real questions. Â After a moment, Bailey looped her arms around his neck so she could hop up, wrapping her legs around his waist, pressing her back against the wall to support her, so that she could lightly grind her hips into his. Â Tangling her fingers into his hair, she pulled his lips from her neck up to her own, so she could kiss them hungrily.
And there was the reaction Joel was so bloody use to. The reaction was enough for his pants to tighten even further. Damn Vi and her suggestion for him to purchase more fitting pants. Though, it made no matter. Simply because the hunter was itching to rid himself of his....lower barrier. While the hunter continued to nip and bite at her exposed flesh, the red head and managed to situate herself in the most precise position - obviously use to being in such a....situation. The thought excited the male. Joel was thrilled when Bailey wrapped her legs around him, chest arching to his touch. He nips at her skin playfully, mouth darting to her neck where he sucks the skin greedily. âYou are already making me a very happy man.â he purred into her neck, becoming more engrossed in showering her body with attention. The hunter grins, hands roaming down her body hungrily. Joel has been dying to put his hands all over her, ever since the little minx had bit back more then she could chew. He nearly lost it when her body slowly began to grind against his own, eyes closing as her fingers tangled within his locks. And soon their lips were battling with thee others, Joel's kisses more hungry and needy then her own.
Glad when he finally walked over instead of staring around the middle of her lobby like he was casing the joint, Nora smiled at the man in front of her.
"So, what can I do for you, handsome?"
Joel fought back the urge to chuckle at the women's forwardness.
"I was thinking about switching hotels." He looked over his shoulder at the luxury hotel. "And I thought this looked like quite a proper homage. Would you agree?"
Her hands were by her side, curled into fists, knuckles whitening. Sheâd spent so long trying to keep the brave face up, pretending that everything was fine and perfectly normal. But Violet could never help the hollow stone that dropped in her stomach every time she watched Joel leave for work, knowing she wasnât going to be there with him. Maybe a house, a home was something, in her mind, as a sign or normalcy and for once stability in the two siblings lives. âYeah,â She lifted her pinky, wrapping it around his. âAlways and forever.â
The pinky swear was the beginning of what Joel had hoped to be a new start. Given, sin city wasn't the most ideal option when the hunter had thoughts of a proper homage. But seeing his sister smile was all the more worth it. "Now," He untangled his pinky from her own. "How about we finish off our order and give this city a little Langdale flare." His brows raised, eyes gleaming with mischief.
Excuse me?
On second thought, Iâm actually not sorry. You should be grateful you had the privilege of listening to me sing in the first place.
Privilege? Or misfortune? I thought your pitch could use some definite work. Or perhaps that's just my nonsense talking.
You donât know about me but Iâll bet you want to! Everything will be alright if we just keep dancing like weâreâ Oh god, Iâm sorry. I get really caught up singing sometimes and I just donât notice where Iâm going.
No, no. I was actually enjoying watching you make a fool of yourself. Shall I step aside and let you continue?

Bailey honestly didnât even remember this mans name, even though she knew that sheâd had a few encounters with him, yet here she was, following him to wherever he lived - house, hotel, it didnât really matter to her. Â Granted, she was more apt to follow strangers to mysterious places than most, seeing as she did have multiple abilities that transcended those that humans had. Â Unless this man was a hunter - which she seriously doubted, sheâd gotten rather astute at picking them out after all the years sheâd been at it, at least in her own mind - or some other supernatural creature - which again, she doubted - she was sure sheâd be perfectly fine. Â Unsure where she was actually going, she let him lead the way, genuinely amused at the banter theyâd been exchanging back and forth. Â The thing with Bailey was that while she certainly enjoyed dishing it out, she almost enjoyed taking in sassy or snarky comments more, just because people werenât willing to dish them out very often, and it genuinely amused her when someone tried to best her. Â They never would, obviously, but it was entertaining enough to see them try. Â âWe almost there, handsome?â Â She asked, absentmindedly twirling a fiery curl around her finger - patience wasnât exactly her virtue, and not knowing where they were headed was kind of making her anxious.
The breeze was a pleasant one as Joel and his companion....Bailey, shimmed across the street as Joel was guiding her towards her stay for the night. His lower regions twitched in excitement. Whether from their constant banter or interesting run ins, Joel was hooked. Not whipped so much in a sense, but itching to blow off their building steam. The hunter knew that he shouldn't just allow just any willing girl into his hotel room, especially when his sister could walk in and cockblock at any moment. Also with the known demon rate in this town, he needed to have his guard up. But with Bailey so willing and smirking, Joel found it hard to say no. His thoughts were muted as the ginger's sultry words were heard over the wind. Joel stopped in his tracks and looked around the vacant street. Literally vacant. Not a soul in sight besides the typical twitching light pole. His look became lidded as he looked over at the girl. Instead of answering, Joel grabbed her hand and led her into a darkened alleyway. His body was quick to trap her own against the brick wall. All he could see was her fiery hair and pursed lips. "I don't have it in me to last a minute longer." He growled, attacking her neck with his lips.
Violet didnât say anything. She knew she was being unreasonable, filling in the role of the typical, whiny younger sister. She couldnât even really explain why she was so dead set on this in the first place. Vegas was, so far, the only city that had been more than a month long stay. Maybe she was just getting ahead of herself. âDonât do that.â Violet shook her head. âIâd rather you be at home.â
Her words caused his cold, black heart to tighten. Her eyes taking on one of sadness. It was almost too much for Joel to bare. He hated seeing his sister so upset. "Vi.." He was at a loss of words. "You know we cant afford for me to miss a day." He moved to her side of the booth and draped his arm around his sister. "Just remember." He nudged her shoulder. "Always and forever."
God damn.
Cops are really paranoid in this city, arenât they?
Just when riff-rafts decide to give them a reason to.
