He imagines Tyson, his brother. He imagines Grover, his best friend. He imagines his mother, Sally fucking Jackson, and it’s not enough

But you know what is?

Annabeth Chase. She is the thing keeping him there. She is quite literally the reason he stays alive. That is his Annabeth.

it's an unofficial rule in cabin six that even though everyone knows Annabeth breaks camp rules nightly to sneak over to cabin 3, nobody ever says anything. after suffering through the alternative when percy was missing for eight months, no one is in a hurry to keep them apart, and be on the receiving end of Annabeth's wrath.

i always figured chiron would just turn a blind eye to it bc like there have only been them and two other demigods that survived the pit - nico and houdini doing it alone. and he knows percabeth were already like attached at the hip before and he knows tartarus is terrifying - so much so that the big three went down and never went there again. if gods can barely stomach it, what does it do to demigods? so like both on a personal level of care for them but also a more general level of the safety of others, he lets percabeth sleep in cabin three so they can be together and so they stop waking everybody else with their nightmares and screams

today i redesigned my old character development graphs to make them a lot more accessible and easy to use! i've always wanted a visual resource to build the general outlines of a character's personality, so i tried to create some templates that could be used for tons of different scenarios, no matter what kind of universe your character exists in! these can be filled out in ms paint, with a multiply layer or however you choose - feel free to use and repost them for your ocs, or even use them for canon characters!!!
