“And if you’ll give me 40% of the MOST POPULAR VOTE, I’ll give you my SPECIAL REWARD... A year’s supply of NON-GLOOBY SLIME!!! Never or BARELY used!!!” Tenna concluded his speech with a huge smile, jetting his hands up in double peace signs.
The crowd roared in confused enthusiasm as Tenna gave a gracious flurry of low-FPS bows, pausing only for the occasional stink-nose at his audience plants who weren’t throwing enough 3D roses.
Eventually, the room fell silent. It was Senshi’s turn to speak.
He puffed out his chest, took a long, sweeping look over the audience… and shook his head.
“I can see not all of you are eating properly.”
The crowd murmured with embarrassment.
“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but it’s time to take the turkey out of your icebox. I have seen the ingenious technology with which your people store food... and I have also seen the waste which results from such convenience.
“The food you take had a life. Beasts grew fat on the grass of the field, plants grew from the sun’s rays, and mushrooms grew from minerals in the cracks of caves. And yet, it sits in your iceboxes, collecting moisture until it perishes.
“Eat what is given to you. Because its life will make you stronger, too.”
Without another word, Senshi left his podium and stepped away from the stage. The crowd murmured in confusion. “Is he really like that?” somebody said. “I only remember reblogging the photosets of him tripping and showing ass.”
--
Back in the Green Room, Tenna wrung his antennas nervously.
“Y-y-you think they liked me!? They HAD to!! I mean, I don’t know what Asgore was thinking, getting that weird haircut and running that food waste campaign, but… YOU thought I did good, didn’t you, Kris?”
Laios nodded aggressively, a streak of blue face paint peeling from his forehead.
“You did AMAZING, Tenna! By the way, now that we’ve seen all your insider campaign secrets, do you have any more videos of Susie? Especially her tail... If I could get a look at that, I could finally tell if she’s a dinosaur or --”
THWACK. Fake antlers butted Laios’s head.
“LAIOS?? Weren’t we dressed up to help SENSHI???” Marcille hissed, gesturing awkwardly with her hooves.
Suddenly, Tenna turned to the two adventurers.
“Hey, WAIT a second. SOMETHING’s not right here...”
Laios and Marcille held their breath.
“Where the heck are my POINTS!?”
Just then, the door opened. Chilchuck took one step into the room, whistling and holding a large bag.
Everyone turned to him.
Chilchuck paused, took a step backwards, and closed the door.
“CHILCHUCK!!!” yelled Tenna.
“How come Chilchuck got to stay Chilchuck!?” yelled Marcille at the same time.

Meanwhile, in outer space somewhere, some guy was making out with a rock.

im absolutely in love with nil’s character… they’re very charming to me !! i can imagine them (in the past) just laying out in the sun ignoring everybody lol
anyways, i’ve gotta ask — what would they do for fun (or in their free time) now that they’re with polly??? what might the two do together for fun too haha
Thank you!! Haha that's exactly what they used to do all day at the village.
Now, as they travel together... they do whatever the land ahead of them prompts them to.
Nil still carves pumpkins, but after Polly taught them to craft basic items- they began trying out wood or even stone carving. Polly follows suit (and sometimes uses their teeth to do it).
Nil has taught Polly the art of cloud watching, meanwhile Polly has taught Nil to orientate themselves using the stars in the night sky. They usually just end up stargazing.
Polly told Nil about songs or shanties the Pillagers would sing during patrol, and the two try to make their own new ones. They forget most of them the next day, and start again.
Nil began enjoying picking flowers. Polly taught them to make stews out of them, and Nil has had the idea to experiment with recipes more. Of course, not all the recipes end well-
Nil is still waiting for when they find the fabled Mushroom Island that Polly promised them, they want to see if it's really possible to get stew from a cow...
I imagine Nil also makes it a point to plant pumpkins everywhere. They always carry a handful of seeds from carving so many, and they find places to plant more. Spread the pumpkins.
They go for swims regularly whenever they find a safe lake or river.
Once they came across a shipwreck, that was poking out of the ocean and close to shore, so they were able to explore it.
(More under cut)
They found a treasure map in that shipwreck, so they built a boat and sailed out to find it. Buuut all they found was a deep hole in the sand, and at the bottom THAT Wandering Trader. She claims she was also looking for the treasure, but when she arrived, it was just the hole and she slipped and fell in.
Polly and Nil were about to turn around, when the Trader's llamas pushed them in as well. Meanwhile, the Trader managed to grab the lead hanging off the llama and pulled herself out of the hole.
Nil and Polly had to then try to convince the Trader that they were in fact NOT about to turn around, they were GOING to help, PLEASE throw them the lead... Trader took the lead off the llama and threw the whole thing into the hole, and left. They had to get out of there before nightfall.
They explore whatever ruins they come across. Have come across a Desert Temple with a hole in the floor, and when they looked down, there was a giant cavity as if there's been an explosion.
They crashed in that temple for the night, and made up stories about the carvings on the walls. Carved their own initials out somewhere too.
Then they found a camel in that desert, and rode it to the edge of the biome.
When it's time to rest, and they've set up camp - they turn to their creative activities, or craft tools they will need the next day (usually arrows, Polly does repairs to their crossbow (unlike Steve, they don't need an anvil)). They also make sure to collect material on their journeys.
They patch up their wounds, they wash themselves and their clothes. They cook, they eat, they talk about everything and nothing, discuss what they've seen that day, calm down if something tried to kill them earlier, and they look at the stars, and Nil is the first to go to sleep while Polly stays on watch for a bit, and eventually gets some shut-eye too.
idk how "black people should feel welcome on this website" became something you have to say out loud. if black people aren't comfortable or safe on here then that is our failure. be anti-racist or die.
it's not enough to be passively non-racist. whether you're chasing people off here yourself or choosing to ignore "discourse" (meaning the rights of black people to basic respect), the end result is a big whites-only sign outside your little clubhouse. when the tide is pulling toward bigotry, refusing to swim against it just means you'll be carried along too. passivity is acceptance. get mad, get loud, don't value the comfort of the oppressor over the dignity of the oppressed.
