Some of the funniest complaints people have left after camping or taking a trail;
- you need less regulations on fire type pokemon to make it easier to start campfires
- how are the Stantler supposed to know where to cross? Are they familiar with the sign color?
- far too many Spinarak, Venemoth, and Beedrill along the Deep Woods Trails
- escalators at the steep areas would be nice
- The Summit is not accessible to subaquatic Pokémon
- is it 5 miles on foot or by car?
- too many rocks
other notable complaints include “the ocean is too salty” and “the trees have too many leaves.” no, seriosuly. I grew up next to Ilex forest, the number of times I had tourists tell me stuff like “the forest has too many trees.” like....yeah....its a forest. they do that, ma’am.
The sheer silliness of urban visitors and their questions will never not amaze me
I let my Umbreon go run around the shore of a lake and he came back with a Gyarados fin??? I think he fought one off and won??
Reblog if you’re a part of Rotomblr and want some asks!
If you reblog, send an ask to the person you reblogged from so everyone gets some interaction!
If you can’t think of anything to ask, just ask for a random story about their Pokémon!

I'd like to restate for those who forget:
Respect Your Region's Pokémon Import Laws
I have been finding more non indigenous and invasive mons on the trails and I've mostly been finding bug types from other regions but they alone are decimating the local ecology with their eating habits, toxins, and sometimes aggression to native species.
If you come across a mon that you don't think is native to your region please call your local rangers to handle it, or catch it yourself (safely) and bring it to them. If no rangers are in your area you can also take them to a league professor, pokecenter, or some areas have mon squads
Ya know what? It’s recovery time.
The cutest things your Pokémon do. Tell them to me!
My Houndoom, Mightyena, and Umbreon will sleep in a pile or groom eachothers tails. I can never get a picture of it happening but eeeeee they're so cute when they do it!!
Fun fact about Pineco!
They create this glue like spit that they use to adhear tree bark to their outer shell, however, if you befriend or train one you might just get it to spit into a jug of water
If you do get 3-8 globs you can seal it away in a dark room for 2 months or longer and you'll have a delicious Pine syrup! You can use this in place of honey or jam, I often put it in hot water alone for an earthy tea!
Your from Orre, do you support what Team Snagem was trying to do?
Absolutely not. What they were doing out there was horrible. Period. I will say that I sympathize with the baseline sentiments that our region is being forgotten about and that to be from Orre is to be known as a lowlife in other places. That being said I've been living in Johto for about 7 years now and last I recall, Orre citizens were not nearly that nationistically insane.
What Snagem blatantly disregarded at the start of their movement was that they could have used their resources to rebuild the infrastructure of Orre from the ground up. Something the region has been avoiding doing for most of its history, hence why I moved out of that sandhole. I really hope that the people in Orre finally get that they control their own situation out there and this never happens again
I love my pack of pups but what they don't tell you about dark type dogs is that they like to stare at you, silently from the side of your bed, for hours...who even needs a sleep paralysis demon anymore
sometimes drifblim and bastion will do that to me! they’re ghost types so they generally give off an odd vibe.
Speaking from experience, all ghosts do this. Or, at least most. It’s all fun and games until you wake up to an Arc damn Lampent looming over you, leading you to momentarily forget the fact that you OWN said Lampent!

Sea creatures are SO COOL wtf
Tell me all the facts
(Proceeds to research for 10 hours straight)
Jellyfish don't have brains so they kind just float along. Literally empty head, no thoughts
male seahorses give birth
sharks dont actually want to bite you maliciously, they are just curious little guys (and gals, and everything in between and outside)
Yup! And they usually just think you're a seal!
Sea urchins have really cool skeletons, too!
And sea stars can regrow limbs! Also, have you seen a sun star? They look so neat!
I'm sure most people have seen a sun star! Its kind of hard to miss the burning orb in the sky after all...
My friends and I are going to go camping in Eterna Forrest this weekend but none of us have ever done this before. Do you have any tips or advice?
Camping with your friends and Pokémon can be loads of fun! But there are certainly a few things you'll need to know;
- you WILL run into bug types, so so many bug types, however they're all mostly harmless! If you have a campfire going they'll keep their distance
- Eterna Forrest is home to Aipom who will absolutely try to get into your food so make sure you bring either a locking cooler or keep bags zipped in your tent with you
- you'll want to bring at least one Antidote and Paralysis potion just in case you rile up some hives or colonies
- DO NOT BRING UNTRAINED FIRE TYPES, if your Charmander, Cindaquil, or any other open flame Pokémon get spooked easily you could start a forest fire. Always bring an extinguisher to your camp site just in case
- My friend who lives there says she hears Lycanroc howls at night, again they really shouldn't bother you when your in your own campsite but I'd recommend not taking any night hikes without a group
- You should be able to find Razz, Bluk, Cheri, and Oran Berries out there! Don't collect from just bush and leave plenty for wild Pokémon!
- Most importantly, Have fun out there!
POV: you have leppa berry jam
He just wants a taste that's all
I'm so tired of tourists and travelers asking if they can pet the Ursaring before I spook it off the trail
Would it be too passive aggressive to make infographics about basic wilderness survival and hand it out when they ask something stupid...
After living in Johto for a couple years I'm so happy to finally have my official Trainer Card!! My team all posed so well for their pictures! <3
edit: For those messaging me about practicing unlicensed training, you should know that where I'm from in the Orre region you don't really need to follow the legal steps to be a trainer
