MATTHEW IS A VAMPIRE⊠AND WEâVE MET HIM
So, bare with me. Itâs going to be a journey.
Iâve been rereading City of Bones recently and something struck me. At Magnusâ party, we encounter a vampire who Cassie describes as:
So this is what I thought: heâs blonde (maybe dying his hair because he wants to hide his true identity, you never know), has an earring (if Matthew isnât the earring type, I donât know who is) and we meet him at Magnusâ party. Matthew has always admired Magnus and maybe thatâs why he decided to move to New York instead of staying in England, after all Magnus is probably the only acquaintance whoâs still alive (a part from Tessa, but if I recall correctly sheâs not âavailableâ at the moment).
So then we arrive at the Hotel Dumort, and this happens:
Jacob is the first vampire who acknowledges the seriousness of Jace and Claryâs intentions. Maybe because he himself was a Shadowhunter and knows how the Nephilim think.
Then we have this comment Jacob makes in City of Glass:
Matthew has probably seen and experienced many things at the Hell Ruelle, who knows, maybe heâs even talking from first-hand experience.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST: GUESS WHAT THE ENGLISH FORM OF JACOB IS. GUESSED IT ALREADY?
Also, if Cassie really plans to make Matthew become a vampire, Jacob is the most eligible option between all the vampires introduced in TSC books.
