ACOSF Truths the Fandom is to afraid to admit:

Am I the only one weirded out by the characters' personalities? I feel like the characters didn't grow as much as I thought they should have. I felt like there was too much smut that I was disappointed that they were not able to explored Nesta's feelings towards her sisters and she was not gicen the opportunity of explaining why she was treating them like that. We never really got to see their relationship as sisters grow. It was like everything was forgiven in a snap.

Let's all acknowledge how the book plots have become repetitive.

I'm sorry to disappoint y'all but I'm a team GWYN!

Don't you guys think it would be better if Elain and Lucien talk about what it is that they have between them and figure out if it would work? If it doesn't then I would rather they acknowledge that they are not meant for each other and separate rather than resort to breaking valuable ties and forming a relationship that can put many of them in danger.

P.S. I just really want them to talk things out like the mature adults they are.

like fuck jk rowing her battle of hogwarts doesn’t hold a CANDLE to the battle of olympus in percy jackson….. annabeth instinctively taking a knife for percy that would’ve hit his achilles spot bcuz she just knew….. silena dying after masquerading as clarisse to convince ares cabin to join the battle, revealing in the end she was the spy and caused the death of her own boyfriend…. kronos being defeated after percy realizes he’s not the hero and gives luke annabeth’s knife which he uses to kill himself…. percy being offered immortality and instead asking for the gods to from now on recognize all their children so no one ever feels unwanted again….. TELL me u didn’t absolutely go feral reading this for the first time in 6th grade or whenever

I think this piece rounds off my Wicked King recovery nicely. There is so much juxtaposition in the sequel compared to the Cruel Prince, and this one was the most literal.

Cardan on puppet strings is a very common motif among his fanart - but Holly LITERALLY made Jude a puppet on strings in the sequel that the comparison had to be made! The fact that they were both tied down due to polarizing forces offered us readers what will be the most excruciating catch-22 of 2019. (I found it hilarious Jude being so self conscious about her dress for Taryn’s wedding - I made it suuuuuper low cut)
