Okay I can’t fuss on it anymore! So i may or may not have spent waaaaay too much time drawing this, but I hope you enjoy! Please like this it took me so long!
Im rewatching turtles in time/tale of the yokai and
his eyes are so big

HE'S JUST A TINY LITTLE GUY REACHING OUT TO HIS MOMMY
He barely takes his eyes off her for their entire interaction-
He's like a begging puppy asking for her understanding
Also the fact that he's holding his hands in fists near chest level is a sign of tension or anxiety, which means that he's just a nervous little guy!! He's standing right next to the lady who stole his daddy's heart!!
I felt you needed a video of the tiny little hand movements because they didn't need to animate that, but the fact that they did makes it look so natural, and I will NEVER get over their subtle animation choices
I actually love the idea of 12'Leo getting very kidnapped and 12'Donnie finding out about it and getting more and more anxious/frantic as time goes on. And after he uses up his tech tricks (like hacking cameras, tracking license plates, etc) he reverts to confidently using "drastic measures" and now everybody (his friends and the villains) is trying to get him to stop, and Raph&Mikey are even apologizing for his "let's use tech to cause complete chaos until they give him back!" mindset because they only fight baddies when they deserve it and they don't even know who took Leo. (Which is part of Donnie's problem.)
And Donnie's not mad- he's just acting out because he doesn't know what to do (and he hates not knowing what to do), so it's not as impressive or amusing to Raph. He's not ignoring reason- Donnie thinks this is perfectly rational and is acting accordingly.
I'm imagining an interaction with Razhar and Fishface where Donnie has just finished blowing things up and using their own equipment/Footbots to throw them around (but realizes they don't know anything and is stalking away frustrated) only for them to be mad at Raph and Mikey who are frantically like "We can't get him to stop! Leo was the one who always got through to him when he's like this!"
And even funnier would be the Foot and Purple Dragons and others helping the turtles to locate their brother because they really really really need Donnie to calm his shell down and they realize that assisting him means that he'll stop coming after them.
And it's using the extra resources that they find Leo in a Kraang base (or something) and they mount a rescue and get him out of a cell where he's being kept and he's mostly okay when his brothers frantically insist that he needs to come back and calm Donnie down PLEASE.
To which Leo doesn't understand at all because Donnie is usually one of the more level-headed ones in the group. (Sure, he has his spurts of emotion, but they die out quick.)
And so they drag Leo to this other room where Donnie sees him and brightly announces that "everything is under control- don't worry! He's just going to nuke the whole place." To which Leo firmly tells him that they are not going to do that because they're in a building in the middle of New York, and people will question it or could get hurt.
Then Donnie drops the idea without protest and is like "okay what do you think we should do?" and Leo relays an escape plan, and they all get out of there and go their separate ways from their unlikely allies.
And Leo watches them go like "what made you think it was a good idea to trust them?" and Raph tiredly shrugs "Figured they wouldn't have been stupid enough to betray us before getting you back"
To this day, Leo has never fully understood what he meant by that.

It's like this. Bruce is the moon, and Dick's the ocean. They're tied together, powerfully, imexaustibly, inexorably, inevitably. And Jason. We'll. He's an astronaut. He reached the moon and left footsteps all over it that will literally never be worn away. No wind is there to blow those away even if Jason isn't there to leave more (he'll always be there to leave more). Do you get it? Do you see?

Not enough Batlantern+JayRoy shippers utilize the fact that Hal is Roy's honorary uncle. Like if you want Hal to interact with Jason in a Batlantern fic, all Jay needs to do is namedrop Roy and Hal will come running.
ETA Same goes if you're more of a BirdFlash shipper. Hal has so many nieces and nephews!
