I KNOW!! I did a report on filming locations in Star Wars last year and just made a list of places that looked so surreal they could make a convincing other planet. You covered some on my list but if I could just add a couple more:

Tsingy di Bemaraha, Madagascar

Zhangye Danxia, China (similar to the Rainbow Mountains in terms of appearance)

Chocolate Hills, Philippines

Giant’s Causeway, Northern Ireland

Oh my goodness, that’s genius! If you’re comfy answering, what did you use as the padding, is it cotton? I would love to hear more about this and how it wears, especially with summer and humidity, if that’s a thing where you are!

so for the body pieces we used linen - a tight weave in medium weight for the outside front, a linen gauze for the lining of the front, and a looser tabby woven linen for the back panel. the padding we’re pretty sure was Hobbs Heirloom Cotton Batting which comes in bleached or natural versions. it’s all cotton, but a little fluffier than the 100% cotton batting that is labeled as “needled”.

hey pals! my boyfriend was in the ICU recently where he almost died because his pharmacy REFUSED to give him his insulin AGAIN because he was a few days late on insurance payments. They put his medicine on hold even after receiving the payments. He almost went in to a diabetic coma, stayed in the ICU for two days, which gave us a hefty medical bill. We are struggling to pay for not only our rent, pets and my heart medications but now his insulin and a ridiculous medical bill.

I’m asking for help so we can afford our monthly rent & help with his medical bill so we can actually buy his insulin this time and avoid another ICU visit.
