today i was visiting the forensic psychiatry in moringen, lower saxony.
Heiko Limburg has been a Reverend for many years. After he retired from active work, he decided to become a ferryman. Now, he is transporting hundreds of cars, trucks and bicycles across the Weser river every day.
While covering news for my daily, I stumbled upon this little story: A man near hanover saved wild animals like monkeys and lions from circus and bordellos and kept them in his yard. The last remaining animals are two chimps which live with him for nearly 50 years. In november, the animal Welfare will bring them to a sanctuary in the netherlands.
Nice surprise for breakfast: My pictures of Andrew Manze, the new chief conductor of the North German Radio Symphony Orchestra, made it to the cover of the "Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung" today.
