In every other facet of life when someone gets on their knees or a single knee they are basically begging or pleading for something, but apparently if the skin on those knees are not white it doesn't apply to that parallelism. You all call it disrespect for a flag, I call it begging for something they are supposed to have a Constitutional right to. If you don't see the symbolism in the action of taking a knee it is because you want to see it for something else so that it fits your own agenda. Now if they chose to turn their backs to it, yes, maybe you would have a valid argument. Unity and equality aren't what this nation was originally built on unfortunately, but they are what fixed the badly weakened foundation we had in order for us to continue to grow. If you choose to simply get rid of that support that has held this diverse country together, you will see it become nothing but a pile of rubble. And by the way, a leader is supposed to bring people together in order to make a single indestructible unit, not maliciously make the divide even greater, that is the action of a tyrant. The adage "divide and conquer" is as old as time itself, and has historically been proven to destroy countries. #takeaknee
