☕️ Villain's Coffee Shop (48 parts) - Villain is left badly wounded after a fight with Superhero and is staggering his way home after escaping Superhero, quickly bleeding out -- when an unlikely rescuer appears. (This story has an animal sidekick)

⚠️ Badly Injured Hero Sidekick Shows up at Villain's Base to Beg for Help (81 parts) - One day Villain finds Hero's precious Sidekick shivering and badly injured on his doorstep. And Sidekick's been blinded by an acid attack as punishment for failing Hero. Villain decides to help Sidekick recover and keep him away from his abusive mentor, but over time he begins to realize that the mental wounds and trauma... goes far deeper than the physical ones.

🎭 Broken Hero vs Mind-reading Villain (15 parts) - Hero goes on a mission with her team to catch Villain, but things go horribly wrong, and she ends up trapped under rubble. Her teammate came to her aid, but when the enemy appeared again, the teammate abandoned Hero to save themself -- leaving her entirely at Villain's mercy. But what will Villain do to her, now that she's in his possession...?

💢 Vampire Captures Vampire Hunter to Use as Bloodbag (82 parts) - Mallory, a vampire hunter, finds himself in deep trouble during a hunting mission gone wrong. Especially when Alex -- a vampire who knows virtually nothing about humans and how to care for them -- decides to claim him as his own pet. Now, Mallory must learn how to survive in a new world as a vampire's bloodbag... and Alex must learn how to properly care for his human to keep him from dying.

Villains & Vampires crossover novel (50 parts) - a crossover between Vampire Captures Vampire Hunter and Villain's Coffee Shop. When Villain and Hero's world gets turned upside-down as an old threat arises, they create an unexpected alliance -- with a vampire named Anisa, and Villain's massive panther sidekick.

⏳ Traitors & Lovers (Hero & Villain) (40 parts) - Villain and Hero were dating, until Villain found out her lover was using their relationship to get information for Agency and take down her criminal allies. Villain disappeared and left him behind, hurt and betrayed and broken-hearted. She survived for three years on her own... before a former ally named Supervillain captured her, pissed that Villain told Hero how to find him when they were still dating, and he decides to leave her broken, mangled body for Hero to find to send a clear message: that he was going to kill Hero next.

🐚 The Siren and the Little Girl (5 parts) - a little human girl was on a boat that sank, leaving her floating lost in the middle of the ocean... where a Siren found her. The most dangerous aquatic predator in the sea. But the Siren didn't kill the girl... why?

🩸Beautiful Blood -- Sadistic Vampire Whumper Keeping Human Pets (24 parts) - a young boy named Asher has a very unique gift: regenerative blood that gives him rapid self-healing properties. But that gift can easily become a curse when a certain Vampire finds this ability absolutely fascinating. Does his blood taste different from other humans...?

🕊Captured -- Wild Humans Hunted and Captured to be Used as Servants (25 parts) - in a world where human pets are considered a convenience and a luxury to own, how will a young boy who was hunted and captured from his home town in the wild and enslaved to bird-people survive in this new environment as a servant? What lengths will he go to to make it out alive?

💀 A Life in the Hands of the Enemy -- Villain reluctantly saves Hero's Life (38 parts) - it must be Villain's lucky day when he accidently stumbles upon Hero in a dark alley, and gets the rare chance to ambush her. He can finally put an end to his greatest enemy.... but he finds out that Hero is already gravely wounded, from injuries Villain didn't cause. Is there a bigger threat Villain needs to worry about...?

💉 Drugged Hero Whumpee used as Party Favor at Villain's Party (19 parts) - Shadow is the city's Hero... or at least, she was, before Villain captured her and decided to use her as entertainment for one of his Villain parties to celebrate her defeat. Villains from all around town have gathered in one place for this event... and Shadow is the center of attention with her rapid self-healing powers. Archenemy is one of the party guests, and when he sees who the 'entertainment' is, he pounces on the opportunity to get Shadow to spill a secret she's never let slip to him... one with the potential to destroy the very city she gave so much to protect.

🎉 Emaciated Villain Used as Entertainment at a Hero's Party (11 parts) - This is basically the twin opposite version of "Drugged Hero Used as Party Favor at Villain's Party" that someone requested, exploring what would happen if the roles were reversed and the villain was the one being hurt at a hero's party.

🛡 Living Weapon Whumpee (66 parts) - Whumpee has been tortured and trained to be a perfect living weapon for war... a lethal killing machine. He is used to mindlessly following orders and carrying out missions. But this time... he's sent to kill a town full of innocents, and things change fast. He still kills them all, of course... but he missed one, and soon after the enemy captures him alive. What will the enemy choose to do with Weapon?

💥 "The Lost Hero" - Crippled Hero Presumed Dead (20 parts) - Hero has been dead for five long years, killed in a vicious battle with Old Supervillain as she bravely defended the city... or so everyone thought. But one day, a boy named Logan is saved from death by a mysterious woman with a strange limp. And he soon discovers the truth.

🦇 Run, Human, RUN (14 parts) - A human named Alexa lives with a group of survivors who have survived a deadly disease that has wiped out practically the entire human race. She struggles to survive with her group in the dangerous world outside the safety of their hideout, but when food finally runs out and they have to venture into the forest just to avoid starvation... Alexa learns that they are not the only ones hunting out here. The group of humans was being hunted too. And the winged natives were not happy to find trespassers in their forest. Can Alexa survive the attack and survive alone in the wilderness for a few days...?

👿 The Monster in the Black Room (40 parts) - Supervillain had a dark secret... and his son Villain is determined to discover it. He is never allowed in 'the Black Room', a place that seems to terrify all of Supervillain's henchmen whenever it is brought up in conversation. And Villain is determined to figure out why.

🔪 Beauty and The Freak (26 parts) - A young trillionaire girl's parents promise to let her buy one thing for her 12th birthday no matter the cost as they attend a high-end party full of expensive jewelry and potential gifts. But the girl is more interested in the 'entertainment', which turns out to be a small collection of monsters and mutated freaks. But one in particular catches her eye. Will she buy it as her gift to herself?

⛓️ Hero Kidnaps Villain (21 parts) - Hero discovers the hero agency is hiding what they do to the villains she captures and brings in -- who all have a mysterious habit of vanishing into thin air. And no one will tell Hero why when she asks. So this time when Hero catches a criminal... she decides to figure out the truth, by letting the hero agency check him in like usual-- before breaking in and kidnapping him to interrogate him about what he experienced in his short time at Agency before he had the chance to disappear like the others.

💦 Experienced Hero vs Inexperienced Villain (6 parts) - Exactly as it sounds. A cocky, bold, over-confidence Villain meets a skilled, experienced Hero -- who puts Villain's ego back in its rightful place.

🐺 Vampire vs Werewolf Forced Fight for Human Entertainment Masterlist (4 parts) - Summary: Poor Felix, an innocent young vampire gets caught by some nasty humans who needed a new monster for their blood sports, dragging him into a world of cage fighting and violence... Whatever will happen to him? 👉👈

⚔️ Assassin Rescues Prisoner from Target's House (6 parts) - An assassin breaks into his target's house and kills them, easy enough, a job he's done a dozen times before. But as he's leaving, he hears... crying? He follows the sound, and soon realizes that the target wasn't alone in the house -- a young prisoner has been kept there in captivity, brutally tortured and starved, and is in bad state. Maybe he should just put the poor mangled boy out of his misery... but will he?

For your Injured Sidekick gets taken in by Villain story. Where are sidekicks parents??? this one question leads to so many more. what’s the process for Agency (and all other hero agencies) to recruit?

how young do they recruit?

is it like the Jedi where they take the kids when they like toddlers and raise them in the hero agencies?

what age are they placed with a mentor? Right away after recruiting or like a couple years later like padawans

basically I just finished reading the Halloween special for this story and have world building questions :) (WHY HAS SIDEKICK NEVER HAD A FAMILY PHOTO BEFORE??????? Why has he missed out on so many quintessential kid things? WHO TOOK HIS CHILDHOOD AND ARE THEY DEAD?) ahem. Anyway this is an AMAZING story and I adore it! I wish you the best of things and hope your pillow is the perfect temperature when you sleep :3

OOOOOH THIS IS ACTUALLY A REALLY GOOD QUESTION!

Current theory is Sidekick's parents both died in a house fire from smoke inhalation when he was young (around 9 years old), and one of his parents worked at Agency as a hero. So an Agency official decided to take Sidekick in as a favor to that parent instead of placing him in foster care, which can be detrimental to children.

(Also, house fire means any family photos would have burned up, and most other memorabilia would have also been lost)

Normally, Agency recruits new heroes as young as 17 years old, and no younger than that (because that could be seen as immoral and unethical, sending children to battle)

But when they discovered that Sidekick's superpower was regenerative healing, they decided to bend the rules and recruit him extremely young because that is an insanely useful power to have and could save the lives of other heroes within Agency (because Sidekick could survive injuries that would kill a normal person, making him a good human shield to protect those who would have otherwise been slaughtered by the villains Agency heroes fought)

So at the young age of 10, he was finally paired with Hero as his training mentor. Hero is essentially the one who stole Sidekick's whole remaining childhood & teenhood away after his parents died. He never allowed Sidekick to participate in events like Halloween, and never took pictures for memory books. Never did anything fun with him.

Hero was incredibly strict and harsh on his apprentice, holding him to impossible standards, and abused him horribly throughout years of intense training. Overworking Sidekick and generally just treating him like trash, or a punching bag to take his anger out on after a bad day.

After all, Sidekick would just regenerate from the damage, over and over again without breaking. Which meant Hero didn't have to worry as much about accidentally killing him.

This went on until Sidekick was about 16 years old, which was when the acid attack happened that resulted in him dragging himself to Villain's doorstep to beg for help. Villain took him under his wing, and the rest is history.

Hi! Thanks for asking! :D

I am not a fan of writing NSFW in general. Though I HAVE done it a few times when I feel like it (and with the help of a Tumblr friend of mine who co-authored those chapters), I usually won't. Just my personal preference.

Usually the closest I'll write is implied NSFW, instead of anything explicit. It's just not my strong suit.

Someone I know who does write it if you have any prompts/ideas you want to see written is @nsfwhump-mania (who is a LEGEND at writing NSFW stories. Highly recommend dropping any NSFW asks in their inbox.)

This was entirely too much.

Hero knew what Olli planned to do to Villain and she did agreed to it—but when the horrendous act started, when she watched as their fingers circled his shaft, her gut clenched.

Without thinking, she burst into the room, and Oleander and Villain both snapped their heads toward her.

Oh God.

For a few seconds, the world stopped.

GodGodGod.

She took a deep breath, relaxed her posture, and forced a condescending smile on her face. “I don’t think you can get this thing to work.”

Olli looked at the meat in their hand, still embarrassingly flaccid, and made a face as if only now realizing what they were touching. They let go.

Villain didn’t hesitate.

He staggered away, tripped over his chains and hit the ground hard on his knees but he still kept moving, clawing forward. Frantic. Desperate to get away. To crawl clear of Oleander… and into safety of Hero.

Olli smiled slowly as they let their legs fall over the side of the bed. Their head tilted, searching for Villain’s gaze with lazy amusement.

But Villain stayed hidden behind Hero, kneeling close enough for his chains to pool around her feet. He kept his head down, fingers twisted tight in her trousers, like even looking at Oleander could drag him back.

The raven slowly lifted their eyes to meet Hero’s. “If the toy is broken, we should remove it.”

Hero felt Villain press into her even closer, shaking, his head buried between her knees. “Please,” he begged. “It is not broken.”

Olli smiled anew. Slow, soft, and infinitely worse because of it. “Isn’t it?” they murmured. Their gaze didn’t leave Villain’s new Master. “Then, maybe,” they said gently, leaning forward just a little, “he needs a bit of help… An injection. Caverject. Am I correct?” Their teeth looked impossibly sharp. “We can both enjoy him, Bunny.”

God.

Hero’s heart was beating in her throat, so erratic she feared it might stop. She couldn’t imagine the terror Villain was feeling.

She found his head and pressed her fingers into his scalp, slowly playing with the dark strands of his hair. “He is mine.”

“Yes!” he blurted out immediately. “I am hers!”

Olli clicked their tongue. “Silence, pet. Adults are talking.”

Villain flinched at once, shrinking closer against Hero’s side, but Oleander’s attention had already returned to her. Their smile softened into something playful. “I can show you ways to use him you haven’t even imagined.”

Hero’s face hardened. Her hand in his hair tightened protectively. “He is mine,” she repeated, slow this time, leaving no room for misunderstanding.

Olli lifted their hands in surrender, though the faint smile never left their mouth. “As you wish. But my offer remains open. Always.”

They made their way toward the door. Just before leaving, they glanced back over their shoulder and gave Hero private blink. Then they disappeared into the hallway.

Villain visibly relaxed. He rested his forehead on Hero’s thigh as she ruffled his hair.

Oleander was right. It did work. She just needed to play the good savior and he would lower his head for her. He would kneel at her feet. He would accept her touch, her command. He would belong to her, wholly.

“Thank you,” Villain said, snapping her out of her thoughts. “For saving me.”

Hero smiled for herself. “That’s what you think I did?” She lifted his chin with one finger. His face grew bitter with realization: This was not over yet. But he didn’t cry. He didn’t beg.

“Rather you than the freak.”

“Careful. This tongue of yours is the exact reason why you’re sitting here naked.”

Villain sneered, his teeth bare—a tiny glimpse at the monster he once was. “I was naked for most of my stay here anyway. Superhero always finds a reason to punish me.”

Hero thought back to his green pajama. It was a cruel privilege—difficult to acquire—and all the easier to lose. But it didn’t matter.

What mattered was that Superhero was right. He was getting smart with his mouth the second she allowed it. Just moments after he was almost raped, barely an hour after Super “kept him compliant” with their scalpels. Hell—Villain was still bleeding, his nose broken and his ribs sprinkled with deep red lines. On his left scapula, the wounds grew in shape, forming sharp letters: DUNG.

She thought about digging her nails into his new brand; reminding him of his place. She decided against it.

“Do you know why you are here?”

“I don’t even know where I am.” The snappy tone again. The beast growing.

She didn’t question it now. The moment he saw an opportunity, a chance to succeed, he’d be out. Her heart fluttered. The idea of an escape stunt excited her—but not now. Now, they needed to prepare for something better.

“We are in the agency,” Hero explained. “Tonight is a party.”

All the bravado left Villain’s face. “Another?”

“Yes. And Oleander was tasked with cleaning you up.” She scanned him from head to toe. “But I see they did a terrible job.”

Villain’s hands curled into fists, his eyes locked on the opposite corner of the room. “You were right. I’m sorry—I do not know when to hold my tongue.” As if apology could save him now.

Hero ignored him. “Come on,” she urged gently. “Let’s get you washed.”

His face twisted with reluctance, but Villain still pushed himself to his feet and followed her to the ensuite bathroom. Wood floors and yellow tiles, there was a heavy wooden table stacked with clean towels, and a bathtub filled with steaming water. The air smelled of jasmine oil.

Hero guided him to the tub and sat him on the edge. Then she helped him step into the water, keeping a steady hand on him so he wouldn’t catch on the chains and break his nose again. She gently scrubbed his skin. “The water is nice, isn’t it?”

Villain shot a single look her way.

He was scared.

She could see it in the way he quickly lowered his gaze, bowed his head. Hero crouched down to face the man. “Speak your mind,” she encouraged him.

But Villain only scoffed. “Please,” he said. “Don’t act so… gently with me.”

“Why?” She moved to his head, working on the tangles in his hair.

“You’re going to rape me anyway, are you not?”

Her hands stilled. They were still covered in rose shampoo, and the milky water ran down her arms. Hero couldn’t bring herself to care. “Why would you—”

“No. I understand. I’ve been here long enough to know that nothing is for free. You saved me from Oleander. Now it is my time to pay.” Villain curled his knees up tight to his chest. “I just want to have it over with. So please… don’t drag this out.”

God.

“Villain… No.” She stumbled over her words. She didn’t know what to say. She was a hero, and yet she had just threatened someone with the worst kind of act. “I promise I would never do something like that.”

Villain scoffed again. “So this is where you draw the line? Look at us.” He was naked. Bound. Countless wounds littered his body, and that awful slur—DUNG—was carved deep into his skin.

God. What am I doing?

What would her mother think if she saw this? How would Sparrow and Blue look at her?

“I know I deserve it. I know. It’s just—” his voice broke. He turned away and buried his face against his bicep. After a few unsteady breaths, he finally looked back at Hero. “I am sorry. I’m running my mouth again.”

The urge to kiss his temple and hug him tight nearly overwhelmed her.

But what could she do?

He was a monster. And he would be treated as such.

Oooh good question! My absolute favorite color is a nice red -- very specifically two distinct shades of red that fresh blood comes in (slightly amusing given that I'm a whump writer). I just find the color of fresh blood very pretty.

Here are the examples of my preferences via the specific hex codes for those colors (if you want to Google it), though I still like other shades of red too:

#CC0000 red (bright red; the color of arterial blood that is highly oxygenated)

#660000 red (darker, rich red; the color of venous blood, which is the oxygen-poor blood that flows through your veins back to the right side of the heart)

I'm taking a bit of a break from Tumblr for the near future (a break from posting any new writing content, I mean. I'll still be actively checking messages, notifications, and tryyyyyyy to get around to answering some of my inbox messages too)

Basically, I'm going to be focusing energy on other areas of my life soon, and keeping up writing as frequently as I usually do is going to be too much to have on top of my new life duties, especially because my family is planning several trips this summer that I'll be preparing for (and I also hit some major writer's block recently anyway 😭)

Just letting everyone know in advance that I'm not going to be nearly as active as I usually am on this blog with near-daily writing updates. It'll probably be once every other week for writing updates IF I get around to it.

So, I was talking to my little sister recently, and she told me about this lovely word called ✨️defenestration✨️ (pronounced "dee-feh-nuh-stray-shn")

Its literal definition is, "the act of throwing someone out of a window." It's SO SPECIFIC and I am officially in love with it. 100% using it in a future story (probably) 🤣

When my sister mentioned it my first response was "WAIT THERE'S AN ACTUAL WORD FOR THAT??" before eagerly adopting it into my vocabulary (I completely misheard her the first time though, and I thought she said "defend menstruation" 😭)

For the WIP tag game hehe, I simply MUST know about the mysterious villain that spares Hero pretty please 😍😍😍 thank you very much mwahahaha 😌🩷

This one is actually already partially written and posted if you'd like to read through it! (I linked it at the bottom) 🥰

Here's a brief summary though:

Hero and Villain were battling across the rooftop, evenly matched... until Hero finally faltered, giving Villain the advantage.

Now dangling off the edge of the skyscraper roof, helpless, Hero clung with dwindling strength as Villain leaned over the edge and removed her hero mask to see her real face.

Hero didn't know why, but instead of prying her grip off and letting her fall to her death... Villain suddenly pulled her over the edge to safety, without saying a single word.

He'd killed dozens of other heroes in the past. What was so different about HER?

And here's a snippet:

A single word left Hero's mouth.

"...Why?" she croaked hoarsely. A single word, with so many questions packed behind it. A desperate plea for answers, for some kind of explanation to justify what Villain had just done.

Villain was the enemy, after all... so why did he save her?

The only response Villain gave was when his lips tightened into a grim line, his face still flat and poker as he stepped further away and toward the rooftop access door like he was about to leave.

"Wait!" Hero coughed out, taking a stumbling step in his direction. "You have to tell me why. Please."

Villain stayed silent, only giving a subtle shake of his head in answer, and Hero wasn't sure what that was supposed to mean.

She didn't get a chance to stop him or block the escape before Villain was turning toward it with an elegant sweep of his black cloak and disappearing through the door to vanish, leaving her to wallow in her confusion.

I'm planning for this to be a full series eventually (when I get around to it)

Also, WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL??? I saw your response to the WIP tag game, and HOLY CRAP YOU HAVE 100 WIPS???? 😱😱😱😱

@barbarianwomon, I see you are curious to know more about my 'Guard & captive Supervillain who breaks free' and 'Purring Vampire' WIPs, so I am now here to share information about them! :D

(And @chaotic-orphan, maybe check out what I wrote near the bottom of this post about the "purring vampire" series and see if maybe you'd like to hop onto the taglist for it? Since I know you like vampires, and this series is going to be INSANELY whumpy with lots of torture & intense suffering. Probably even more whumpy than the "Vampire King" series. No pressure though, just sharing that it might catch your interest :D)

Firstly, here's a chunk of my outline/snippet for the 'Guard & captive Supervillain who breaks free' WIP. It's a bit jumbled because it is a VERY rough outline, but I think you'll like it.

Guard works at a supermax facility for the extra dangerous supervillains

But unlike the other guards who take joy in injuring, torturing, and making the prisoners suffer endlessly, knowing no one will stop because "the victims are just Supervillains", she's kind and thoughtful to everyone under her charge, despite the ones who throw vile insults at her and treat her poorly while she tends to them.

There was one in particular that had caught her eye, a class 5 threat on the ranking system, which is the highest possible mark a Supervillain could be marked as.

He was quiet, smoldering, a man of few words who never offered unnecessary conversation whenever she brought the prison meals to him.

But one day when Guard is giving Supervillain his meal, there's a loud pop and explosion sound in the distance that's strong enough to make the ground shudder violently.

All the lights go out, before the emergency backup ones flicker to life, glowing ominously red.

But... something else happened at the same time. Something truly horrifying.

Guard watches as the green light on power-suppression cuff on Supervillain’s wrist turns or flickers red... before the cuff disengages and falls off entirely, clattering to the floor.

Supervillain stared down at it with wide eyes, body going rigid and still -- before his eyes snapped up to meet Guard's, and they share a mutual look of stunned disbelief, neither of them sure of how to react.

But then Guard's radio crackles to life seconds afterward, a panicked general's voice coming through.

The general tells him they're under attack, and that the power outage was caused by a villain with electrical powers. And that the EMP pulse knocked out control over the devices suppressing prisoners' powers -- informing that all the prisoners are breaking free and rebelling, attacking their guards and killing them on their way to escape. It appeared the villain who broke in was counting on releasing an army from within to overwhelm the hero-hired forces.

General tells Guard it's complete chaos and that they can't afford to try and take any of the dangerous criminals alive or recapture them alive, instructing her to shoot anyone on sight she sees that is not a fellow employee of the supermax if they look even remotely hostile.

Guard's eyes are still locked with Supervillain's... and then reality hit, and they blew huge with realization.

Supervillain raised his cuff-less hands placatingly in some semblance of harmless, though both of them knew the power dynamics in this room had just shifted in a very, VERY big way, and not in Guard's favor.

Guard took a trembling step back, hands twitching toward the gun on their belt.

"Don't run," Supervillain whispered, still keeping his hands visible. "If you leave this room, you will be killed. The facility's swarming with escaped criminals hungry for blood. You are good as dead if you run."

Guard remembers Supervillain's file, and how his superpower was enhanced hearing... along with electrical abilities, just like the villain the general had mentioned setting off this entire dangerous chain of events to start with. But why should she trust the word of a prisoner??

Supervillain could be lying. Could be lying to get close enough to attack. And there was no way in hell she could take that chance.

Supervillain had no reason to spare her. Every other prisoner in this place was vengeful after years of being caged and treated like animals by the guards. Guard would be no different in their eyes, and be slaughtered just as readily as the rest despite her kinder tendencies.

Guard whipped out her gun in one smooth, practiced motion, trying to ignore the slight tremble of fear in her hands as she leveled the barrel straight at Supervillain's chest, clicking the safety off.

"Don't come any closer," she said, meaning to sound authoritative and harsh, but her voice just came out scared, betraying her.

Supervillain visibly stiffened, his pupils narrowing a centimeter.

"Bad idea," he said calmly. His tone didn't quite match to a threat -- it was strangely more like a suggestion, an attempt at reasoning with her.

"Don't do that," he added. "I won't hurt you. I repay kindness with kindness. You were the only one keeping me alive in this place after the others tore me apart. I will get you out of here alive in return, if you'll let me. Then we're even.”

“How do I know it isn't a trap?” Guard growled.

Supervillain shrugged. “You don't. But you can either take your chances with me, or take your chances with them.” He jerked his chin toward the steel prison door, beyond which were the horrific screams of dying victims, both guards and villains alike.

“Even if I'm luring you into a trap… You'd be dead either way. You have nothing to lose.”

✨️Now, onto purring vampires!!✨️

So. I have learned that bats can purr like cats do.

And as such, since vampires in a lot of contexts are portrayed as being related to bats (even distantly), I think it would be very cool if vampires could purr too.

I'm planning to write a story about human households who have "pet/servant vampires". Which, normally would be dangerous for obvious reasons, however proper precautionary measures are taken.

For example, each servant wears a strong shock collar that can instantly incapacitated them when triggered.

The reason vampires are used as servants is because DUH, free labor! You don't technically have to feed a vampire to keep it alive. They won't die, even emaciated beyond belief. They require minimal resources to survive, saving money, and kind of just... exist. It's hard for them to get sick, meaning you rarely have to spend money on medical bills, and their bodies are like machines that won't quit, even weak and starving.

Vampire servants are mostly found in wealthy households, because the potential dangers are too extreme for most people to feel comfortable around.

Vampires are considered "exotic pets", just like how some humans keep pet tigers and lions despite the obvious dangers. It's a sign of status, in a way, that someone can house such a deadly creature without getting mauled. Showing off how "well-trained" their monsters are.

Vampires serve very MANY uses to human masters. They can be in charge of keeping mansions sparkly-clean, cooking and preparing food for humans, or even as punching bags for the more violent-prone humans who want to blow off steam.

After all, you don't need to hold back when torturing them, as long as you don't drive a stake into their heart. They'll just stay alive no matter what, and humans find that delightful.

So, the story is about a teenage boy who exists in one such luxury household, whose parents own several vampires. His parents are of the cruelest type, however, and often by the end of the day the servants are physically mangled and broken and suffering tremendously.

The teenager feels sympathy for them, especially one servant who always seems to get the brunt of the abuse. So he does his best to alleviate pain when he can, helping the miserable vampire bathe to clean off all the blood after yet another day of torture, and while the teenager runs his fingers through the servant's matted hair, the vampire starts purring.

Being shown the simplest mercy has the world's deadliest predator melting under the teen's hands, purring at the relief his hands bring.

And maybe, after a while of caring for the servant, the teenager gets to witness the vampire progressively loosening up around him, purring more frequently.

Something very tragic happens later on, but I won't spoil that part :)

I general I think this is a cool twist on the general trope of vampires having HUMANS as servants/bloodbags.

Here's a sneak peek into the outline I have for that story that doubles as a rough "snippet" :D

Villain had always lived a quiet, normal lifestyle on the outskirts of the city, not bothering a soul... or so he thought.

Because one day, a superhero of all things comes barging into his peaceful home, a murderous glint in their eyes.

They don't hesitate to attack him, screaming nonsense about how many of their friends Villain had brutally slaughtered, and how long it had taken them to finally track down his house to exact revenge and permanently eliminate the threat he posed to the world.

Villain didn't have the foggiest idea who this hero was; they'd never seen them in their life. But oh, the look in the superhero's eyes held so much recognition for HIM.

Confused, and panicking with the now-looming threat, Villain raised his arms to shield himself -- and just like that, the hero was thrown back with the force of a freight train, smashing into the far wall with a sickening crack, instantly knocked out.

Villain's entire living room was a wreck, and now there was an unconscious superhero on his floor, and he stared down at his strangely glowing hands because HE DIDN'T HAVE SUPERPOWERS.

And yet... he'd just thrown someone like they weighed nothing. Without even /touching/ them.

There was something scratching at the edges of his memory, something that felt achingly familiar but too far away to truly grasp.

Why can't I remember? What am I forgetting?

Looks like he'd have to help the superhero regain consciousness to answer the millions of questions spiraling in his head. After properly restraining the guy, to avoid a repeat of what had happened.

Here's a rough summary:

✨️potential slight spoilers ahead, read at your own risk✨️

Ari was the scientist, and Blake was the vampire hunter. Together they made the perfect team.

Ari had studied vampire biology for years, hoping to create a cure for vampirism altogether. Because if vampires no longer needed to drink blood, they no longer needed to kidnap humans. It would make the world a safer place for both species -- humans wouldn't need to fear vampires anymore, and vampires wouldn't have to fear hunters.

But unfortunately, Ari needed more blood samples to study before she could finish creating a cure. And as such, she and Blake wandered into the territory of vampires in search of a specimen.

They successfully tracked one down... but didn't forsee being ambushed by a group of other hunting vampires when they closed in on their target.

The vampires bring Ari and Blake and their sciemce field kit equipment to the one they call "their vampire king"... who turns out to have a VERY keen interest when Ari mentions 'a possible cure'.

But WHY?

Is it possible that the vampire king, the deadliest predator to ever walk the earth... wants to feel a moment of humanity again, even if it kills him?

The king offers a deal. But it comes at a steep price; one that neither Ari nor Blake expected.

There's loads of plot twists and whump throughout this one, and I'm already 5,695 words into it. But ONE SAY I shall post it!

Fanart for Villain & Medic (and headcanons)

I have quite a few more pieces of fanart but those will release after part 5 of the fanfic drops. So for now sit back while i verse my countless headcanons.

this scene with Villain and Medic in particular has some hidden meaning. I headcanon that Villain would sleep face up, only wrapping one (1) arm around Medic so that he would feel able to move around freely. This is the position they wake in for part 4 and the position they fall asleep in for part 3; strategically, because it’s their natural position? If you will?

Part 2 and 1 is a bit of an exception because they were not in fact natural at all. Villain is mid-panic attack in those parts.

I headcanon that Medic would really like sleeping with her entire body pressed up to Villain, to feel him very close to her, as her love language is touch.

On the other hand, Villain’s love language and way of reassurance is words of affirmation. So he sleeps with his ear facing her.

Ehhhh I’m forgetting the rest of the headcanons but this quick sketch was primarily supposed to accompany part 4 as a visual to how they sleep.
