Effort and hard work construct the bridge that connects your dreams to Reality... • San Juanico Bridge (Filipino: Tulay ng San Juanico and Spanish: Puente de San Juanico) is part of the Pan-Philippine Highway and stretches from Samar to Leyte across the San Juanico Strait in the Philippines. Its longest length is a steel girder viaduct built on reinforced concrete piers, and its main span is of an arch-shaped truss design. Constructed during the Marcos administration using Japanese Official Development Assistance (ODA) loans, it has a total length of 2.16 kilometers (1.34 mi) - the longest bridge spanning a body of seawater in the Philippines. • Took me half an hour to cross from Samar island to Leyte side. This tourist attraction may have been connected to one of Marcoses’ “edifice complex”, but today this iconic tourist spot has been acknowledged as "part of the identity of people in Samar and Leyte." . . . #lightroomph #lighteoompremium #travelpgotography #travelphotographer #grammerworld #igersph #ig_philippines #photographyenthusiast #nikon #nikoncamera #photooftheday #symmetrykillers #travelguide #welivetoexplore #createtocommune #beautifuldestinations #playoftones #killeverygram #itsmorefuninph #itsmorefuninphilippines #shotaward #visitpics #placestogo #moodygrams #fotografia #igshotz #leyte #sun #love #sky_lovers (at San Juanico Bridge Samar Leyte) https://www.instagram.com/p/BwUAbKUlJR4/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1av4fe1pzbcph
