A New Hope vs The Force Awakens (spoilers)

A captured rebel,

(Who is eventually saved by a person in a stormtrooper outfit)

Places important information in an adorable dome-headed droid.

The droid then meets a loner on a desert planet,

And they team up with an unlikely hero with a murky past,

A wise old man,

And a wookiee.

Together they get the droid’s information back to the rebellion/resistance, where the x-wing pilots get ready for their assault. 

While this is all happening, they are pursued by a masked villain with family issues who is in touch with the dark side.

This villain lives on a giant planet-destroying spherical base…

Where he works with an evil British-sounding officer with slicked-back hair.

The masked villain then kills the old man.

And finally, a crack x-wing pilot blows up the base (minutes before it blows up the rebel planet) by hitting it in a convenient weak spot.

The End.
