In 2020 I drew Miles giving Hobie a flower and I wanted to redraw it with the updated Hobie. I think my art has come a long ass way and I've missed the boys.

I remember THIS panel where Bucky was talking to RJ about changing his name to Ric and dropping the K to make it look hip. As a Marvel fan, this is proabbly just going to come off as a joke. But my DC comics fangirl side IMMEDIATELY got ptsd to Ric "we don't talk about him" Grayson.

You ever wonder if RJ Knows that Bucky buried / gave this dad a tombstone. Wonder if RJ knows that his father’s body was eventually respected, his name remembered somewhere other than the prison records. That even though his father and mother are miles apart that at least they’re at peace now. 

Do you wonder if RJ ever found out that his dad was only using him as a ploy in his scheems or was going to straight up sell him back to HYDRA to pay off his debts. Wonder if he ever found out all to late that maybe Bucky was just looking out for him because he cared about him.  Perhaps the only one who did.  Wonder when this clicked in his head, was on the bus out of the state? Sleeping on a street looking up at the stars and pretending he’s still in Bucky’s garden? 

Do you ever wonder how long he spent thinking about wether it was too late to go back before ultimately deciding it was, that Bucky wouldn’t want him even if he did go back, not after their fight.   Do you think he ever wonders why Sharon or Tony didn’t look for him, wonder if they think he deserves this too.

But maybe one day, Bucky gets hurt in a mission and it’s on the news, and RJ decides it’s time to even the debt

So he burns down whatever criminal hurt Bucky. And goes to the hospital where they are keeping him to make sure he’s OK.

When RJ tries to sneak out, satisfied by Bucky’s healing, he gets intercepted by Sharon.

“I shouldn’t stay.”

“I think you should. I think he’d like to see you very much.”

RJ doesn’t really believe her, but how could he say no? When Bucky wakes up, he is greeted by RJ’s teary face, and just smiles.

“Glad to see you again, kid”

No need to say that RJ now spends as much time as he can with Bucky, and they are happy together.
