Well duh. Anybody who’s anybody hangs out at a bakery.
Haha, I have been. Mostly “Cop Car” because I think it’s hysterical. He usually doesn’t agree.
Sully is trying to get in the cool crowd by living through you. You gotta love his efforts!
KEITH….
He’d be delirious to deny country music and mean it. I sense a soft spot for it because of you. You’re improving him, I raise my glass to you, my friend.
Exactly! Besides, I can see the slight smirk on his face when I change the station in the car. He thinks I don’t, though. I’m totally changing his life for the better, though.
The light that shows is knowing that every song must end.
Well then, get shit done. I ain’t about lookin’ at his ass while I live here and get freaky glares cause it ain’t you…That’s like having some bitch in Florence that looks like me, but is some preppy ass rich girl with a staring problem glaring at you...
How much more of a mind fuck would it be if I lived here. Jesus.
I'm not really too keen getting arrested. I'm pretty sure Sam would kill my ass.
ME?! I didn’t do anything I am trying yo save your ass! Fine…when you wake up without kidneys don’t say I didn’t tell you so you old fart…
Me? I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be the one to murder his ass. Just cause I'm old doesn't mean I can't get shit done.
SEE IT IS A TWIN. OR A FREAKY ASS DOPPELGANGER. Justin either you kill it or it kills you…he’s a cardiovascular doctor…he’s got scalpel knowledge…he could use you in some human centipede shit…
Jesus Christ, I'm not sure who I am more terrified of at the moment... him or you.
I don’t think you’re hungover…this is real, I’m too sober to imagine shit right now…Justin, don’t look at him, he’s a doppelganger! You have to kill him…
Jesus, it makes sense why my parents never let me talk about siblings. This isn't fuckin' real. Maybe you're just literally too sober, it's getting to us both.
..the hell are you!?
God, I'm getting out of Madison as fast as I fuckin' can. This place is trippy as shit.
Who the fuck… or what the fuck. What the actual fuck.
JUSTIN…YOU HAVE A GODDAMNED TWIN I SWEAR TO JESUS HE IS A DOCTOR AND IT’S SCARY!!
I don't have a brother, that the FUCK is going on? Either I fuckin' drank too much last night or I'm literally losing my shit.
Who the fuck... or what the fuck. What the actual fuck.

Lai sniffled, wrinkling her nose at him as she nudged his arm, cheeks flushed a bit as she stamped her foot on the ground, “I didn’t think so either, but Lyle and I thought another small town was better to raise the twins in, even if I can’t stand the people here already,” she snorted, a trait that she picked up from Lyle after about a year of being with him…now that she thought about it, it seemed like it had been a year ago since she first met Justin. Maybe it was just fate, just like it was fate that Evan had crashed and she met Lyle, and fate that they ended up together with kids…Maybe fate really liked her, or something. Licking her lips and rubbing at her eyes, careful not to smear her makeup, Lia laughed out, dimpled pressed into her cheeks as she shook her head, “And of course they can’t, they’re cops…No offence to you are anything,” Lai chuckled as she looked around, hands still in her pockets. It was really a sight for sore eyes, something she’d run home to tell Lyle about later.
“So how did your old ass get here? I don’t think you drove here, that’s be too long of a trip for your decrepit bones,” she teased as she tilted her head, raven black hair falling off to one side as she tried not to look so excited. It wasn’t her style though, but she couldn’t help the wide grin on her face, of the excitement on her petite frame as she bounced about on her heels, “How long are you here for? I want you to meet the kids, you know before you run off back to Georgia and never get to see you again,” she half pouted, the fake little emotion over exaggerated and sweet. It was just a nice shock, something she needed as she looked around, “Want to get a drink though? Look for a bar, I mean I can’t drink cause…feeding and all that, but I mean I can totally hang out and keep you company,” she cooed as she looked about, “See what trouble we can stir up right? Before I have to go back home and be a mother again and a wife,” she said as she smiled, still as bright as ever.
Justin gentle laughed at her cop comment, I don't think she was aware of how accurate her statement was. It seemed like every day at the station, he'd have to correct others' work. "None taken," he said as he held up his arms in front of his chest, "most of the Florence cops are in fact unable to do shit themselves." He glanced around the town, noticing the lack of bodies traveling everywhere, unlike San Antonio.
"Fuck, do you really think I'd stay awake for that long of a drive? Not to mention the denture glue, it would have worn off during that drive." He added on to Alaizabel's tease, "nah, flew out early this morning. Although, the flight did make the bones a little stiff." A pang of guilt hit Justin in the gut, guilt of not being able to call in, check up on her every once in a while since she'd been gone. "You kiddin'? Course I'll stay and meet them. How old are they by now? Oh, and trust me, us old timers cling to people we know... you won't see the last of me when I go back to Florence." Justin took in a deep breath and let his eyes wander the town, "god, you know I do. So far, this place looks like a dry town." Justin smiled back, mischievous behavior will once again commence.

She was already pretty annoyed and pretty upset at the fact that people still treated her this way. It was juvenile, and completely inconsiderate to be honest. But then again her reaction to it was also pretty juvenile and embarrassing. She was sure if Lyle was here he would have stopped her and told her it was fine, or told her to ignore it…but he wasn’t here and he didn’t have a say in her actions at the moment as she glared at the car. She would’e chased after it, but she wasn’t all to accustomed to her body after the babies. Lai still had breasts, ones that bounced about and distracted her at times. Licking her lips before turning on her heels, Lai bumped into someone, nose scrunched deep into his chest. It hurt, and first reaction was to swing and not ask for a reason, but she didn’t instead she toppled backwards, almost falling on her ass but steadying herself right on time.
“Jesus fucking Christ! Watch where you’re going asshole, dosn’t anyone here have fuckin’ manners!?” she grumbled out, icy hues hard and set on the man with his head down…
But he looked familiar…a little too familiar as she shuffled in her boots, hands in her pockets. She had done this before in Florence, running into Justin and then going out to drink…She didn’t think she’d be drinking tonight, she couldn’t, but it was too deja vu for her to not step back up and question him. It wasn’t the fact it was familiar, more so that he was familiar. Blinking a bit, tilting her head to the side and catching the last of his words, Lai instantly knew the voice and the attitude. It was him, the first person she ever met in Florence, and apparently the first person to greet her in this new town, “Well get the fuck out of here! Justin Sullivan!?” she laughed, disbelief clear in her tone as she jumped up a bit, excited beyond words. She didn’t stop herself as she lunged at him, arms wrapping around his neck as she lifted herself off the ground. “What the hell are you doing here?! Are you following me? I’ve got a husband you know, he won’t like that…” she muttered as her eyes watered, a slight sniffle in her voice. It was pathetic, and if it wasn’t Justin…she just assaulted someone…
The same amount of attitude Justin had displayed was shot right back at him, an attitude he thought he'd only hear once in his lifetime. The second he heard the familiar voice, he shifted his head upwards. His yes widened as they adjusted to the woman's face, taken completely back to see her here. "Lai?!" He spoke back, confusion written all over his face. "Me? The hell are you doing here?!" A smile started to form on his lips, perhaps this trip didn't have to be a complete waste of time after all. "Jesus Christ," he paused, smiling while shaking his head side to side, "definitely did not expect to see you in another small town like this." He quickly wrapped his arms around her, one around her shoulder and the other against her back.
Justin laughed as he gently released her, followed with a quick step back, getting a good look of her. She looked good, not much has changed, except for the fact that she was no longer plus two. "Here for a work training in San Antonio... dumbasses can't get shit done themselves. But, the fuck are you doin' here?" The set up was practically the same, young girl wandered the streets of a small town, casually running into a cop, off the clock each time. "Don't worry, I'm not at authority to arrest you here this time." He smiled and nodded, it's good to see you, Delinquent."

Lyle was at home, moving things around and unpacking boxes as Lai decided to go out, baby-less of course. They were only a month or so old and not ready to be out and about just yet. She was nervous over her children, how small they were…Lyle could cradle both of them on just his forearms, and they were always crying and too tiny for her. When they were first born she was terrified of breaking them, but after a month she was used to tiny socks and gloves, and little clothes. They diapers were too big for them, and she was always battling with them to get dressed and not hurt them. Licking her lips tasting her lip balm as she walked about hands in her pockets her jeans torn in the Texas heat, Alaizabel strolled about trying to get used to the layout of the new town. It was jarring solely because she never thought she’d be moving again, but her and Lyle had decided that it would be better to get out and get a nice house, maybe just someplace for the babies to grow up safe and sound. It was odd to think about her future, about her children’s futures. Icy hues were trained on the ground as she kicked up some dirt with her combat boots. There was still stains on them from blood, and caked on mud. She missed Florence, missed the few friends she made, but it was a new life now right?
Looking ahead of her now, her hair freshly dyed and cut back to where it was, Lai walked about looking like her thinned out self. Only she had a little more weight on her, healthy looking other than willowy and breakable like before. She was still working off the baby weight, and she could smoke or drink just yet…breast feeding kind of stopped her from doing that. A car caught her attention, older people looking at her oddly…She was used to this kind of attention, people judging her at every corner. But that didn’t mean that she was alright with it all. Sneering a bit, forgetting that she was a wife and a mother for a second, Lai raised her hands up, “What the hell are looking at!?” she hollered, the large ring sparkling in the light as the older people looked away, either annoyed or ashamed for being caught for looking at her oddly. Everyone usually did, that or fight back…but they were probably too old to care, “Never seen a fuckin’ punk before!? Am I that fuckin’ strange?!” he half screeched as she puffed up, shoving her hands back in her pockets as she grabbed at her keys, feeling like she needed to run up and key the fuck out of their car…but that was no impression to make on the new town she’d be raising her children in.
"Sir, you can't park your car there." A stranger called out to Justin as he parked his black mustang on the side of the road. Ignoring the man, shoved his keys in his jean pocket and continued in his path. Justin felt nothing but bitterness rising inside of him. "You're the best cop we have out here, they could learn from you." Justin scoffed, he was practically the only cop in Florence that gave a shit or two about safety. He was certain he was wasting his in San Antonio, seeing as how there were over a dozen perfectly qualified officers to take the job instead of him. Justin shoved his phone in his pocket, still holding it after calling Sam. He hated knowing she was alone, he wanted nothing more than to walk through his front doors and spend the evening with her, like he did every Sunday.
Sunshine reflected off of every window in the small town, making him slightly more irritated. He wasn't even sure where he was, but he was pretty certain it'd be hard to get lost in this small of a town. "You'll be staying in Madison, it's right outside of San Antonio. We've got your hotel and plane paid for you." Kiss ass, he thought to himself. Pulling his attention back to his phone in his pocket, he quickly pulled out, checking the time. With his luck, it didn't take long before he bumped into a petite figure. "Fuck," he silently, "sorry." Justin paused before muttering to himself, his head still directed down, hoping to not let the woman hear him, "I need a fuckin' drink."
TEXT TO SUNSHINE:
Babe, I've got to head off to San Antonio today. Dick of a boss decided to schedule me for a work training that's mandatory and completely last minute. I'll call you when I land. By the way, there's something in the living room waiting for you.
Not too please about last minute flights to San Antonio for work shit, especially when the NCAA tournament is taking place.
All I can say is this plane better have a fridge in the seat next to me stock full of Jack. They're selfish pricks if it's not.
I don’t think I’d consider it “stuck” but good. :) So do I.
Good, I'd hate to have you think otherwise. Otherwise... we would be stuck in a predicament.
The same could be said about said boyfriend’s girlfriend.
Big 12, baby!
Stawwwp, you’re gonna give me a big ego.
I’m so excited!!
Good, otherwise I would have started to reconsider this relationship but you've got yourself stuck now... I've got a keeper.
