hi,I wasn't the anon but I think they were getting at the "being proud of it" part not the "failing biology" part. most people w LD's and mental illnesses (like me) are not proud to fail bc of it. suggest anon was making a point of wilful ignorance?
Like I said, their intentions were probably good, I'm not denying that. But the way they phrased it was kinda ableist. Also the whole "God this is so simple it's basic high school biology" stuff is always used be anti-sjs to misgender trans people.

I know your intentions were good anon, but this reeks of ableism. Many people fail high school biology because of learning disabilities and mental illness. Not to mention that in some classrooms the students are fed lies about abortion, pregnancy and sex from pro-life teachers. The problem isn't that pro-lifers are failing anything; they're being wilfully ignorant.
(Also high school bio is like, super cissexist and dyadist so we shouldn't really be using that as an argument point anyway).
