âYou can always tell theyâre a new kpop fan if they ask for âunproblematicâ groups. Honey this is kpop, if you like your singers scandal free, youâve come to the wrong place.â

ââWhy does the fandom matter? You stan the group/artist not the fansâ is such a bullshit cop out for toxic fandoms. If you like something but everyone you talk to that likes the same thing is toxic, that makes it much harder to enjoy it.â

âThere are MANY differences between the T-ara scandal and the AOA one, but there is one important similarity: we should wait for and listen to the perspectives of everyone involved in and witnessing the situation before we determine our reactions to it.â

âSo when are new gen boy groups gonna stop filming their mvs in dark warehouses? Iâm kinda done with that vibe.â
Anonymous
âThe worst kpop stans are the ones who call out one group for legitimate issues but donât do the same for similar issues in other groups. If you are calling out some group, make sure youâre consistent bc otherwise, youâre just doing it to bring people you donât like down, you donât actually care about what youâre saying.â

Unless your Kpop fave is in a top 5 company, they are not going to be making money themselves until 1-3 years after they hit big (notice I didnât say debut). Companies spend a lot on trainees and idols start paying off that âdebtâ once they debut, not to mention the hair and makeup, styling, housing, food, and production costs. Iâve seen newer fans saying really ignorant shit bc they donât know about this and itâs irritating.

The winning members were cheated out of something they were cheated into in the first place. Whether or not they knew about it, this is what happened. Theyâll all be fine anyway, with the name recognition they have now. Spend your energy on supporting the hundreds of trainees who went into a show they believed would give them a chance at their dream, but turned out to be just using them.

People are out here pretending Ahn Joon Young is the only one at fault for the way the trainees were cheated. He didnât do what he did in a vacuum. He had CJE&M and their subsidiaries telling him what to do, he took bribes from outside companies like Starship and Woollim, and he had other producers doing it too. CJE&M executives were the main problem.

Just let the produce groups disband already so we can all (including the group members) finally walk away from the scourge that is the Mnet and the produce 101 series.

That awkward moment when new 3rd gen stans start talking like their faves are the first in kpop history to do something. Like chances are REALLY good that several others did it first.

Today on Unsurprising News Everyone Already Knew About: Produce shows are rigged. As if anyone needed more reason to shut down the produce series.

In all seriousness, mad respect to Oh My Girl for knowing basically none of the BTS choreo in the idol dance battle. Why make ggs dance to BTSâs entire discography?

Queendom is the perfect way for Mnet to make money off of fanwars.

I donât think there has ever been a fandom as dedicated to putting down every other kpop act in existence as ARMYs

Itâs crazy to see the difference in popularity of Blackpink internationally vs in Korea. A group thatâs arguably not even top 5 among girl groups in Korea but possibly number 1 when international fans are counted.

How does Edward Avilaâs shady ass still have fans?

Is chaeyeon just the center of I*zone now? Not complaining, but like that didnât take long.
