N 에대해서, N에관해서 about, concerning

N 에대해서means about, concerning, with respect to N. N에관해서means the same thing, however it is more formal and bookish:

내  남자친구는 자동차에 대해서 많이 일고 있어요. My boyfriend knows a lot about cars.

그 사람은 엄제나 날씨에 대해서 이야기를 합니다. That person always talks about the weather.

어제 김 박사님은 영국 경치에 관해서 강연을 하셨습니다. Yesterday Dr. Kim gave a lecture about English politics.

What about a review of a few hair products from Korea this time. I changed my hair colour (well, half of it ahah) and I thought it would be interesting to give you my opinion about the products I used. 

FYI : I have a lot of hair, really solid and soft. I don’t recommend this on thin and weak hair. If you want something really well made, just go to a hair salon. What I did is purely for fun.

Image 1 and 2 : I bleached my hair, with the help of a friend, by using this. Please don’t eat it for breakfast : xD

My opinion : I bleached my hair twice with this product (only one box as there are 4 packets - 2 for each bleach) and my hair were still really soft. You can see that I have dark hair naturally so I’m quite happy with this product.

For 3 days, I took care of my hair by doing hair mask (l’Oréal if you want to know all the details...) and my hair was still really doing well. Then after these 3 days, I bleached it for a third times but with a different product. (image 3) This one :

My opinion : It was less powerful than the product I used before and my hair was really damaged. Of course, the product is not the only to blame. Bleaching your hair 3 times in such a short time is really bad for the quality of your hair.

Then image 4 is when I put some hair colour on it in order to have a pastel pink with this product :

My opinion : the packaging is hella cute... the product is really useless. Even on blonde hair (yes my roommate tried too) it wasn’t really efficient. Really disappointed with this one.

I really wanted to dye my hair so I bought another product (see below) which gave me this redish-pink colour with a few amount of dye. Actually it’s not meant to be a colour in the first place but a hair treatment like a cream to heal the hair.

My opinion : It smells good, the hair is soft and the color is so vivid ! I love it. It’s more red than pink but it’s meant to become lighter and lighter after each shampoo so it’s normal. I’ve also seen that you can mix products from this brand to make your own hair colour. ex: blue and red to make a purple.

To make a long story short : I dyed my hair pink and I love it.

I'll go to Jogyesa (Buddhist Temple in Seoul) to see and feel this peculiar atmosphere. I'm not buddhist but I do love the ideas it conveys and the place of love and peace in Buddhism.

Korean boys can be so confusing.

Some of them are so adorable and caring… and also so possessive. 

It’s so weird - I mean, weird for me, concerning my previous experiences - to be the center of the attention, with people being so nice to you everyday, asking if you are okay, wanting to hang out, sending you good morning/night messages, etc.

Don’t get me wrong, I like it. But it feels so different from what I used to know. See what I mean?

Just a message about the posts I’m going to make this week :

- the Fortress I visited last Sunday (pictures and explanations) I hope you’ll like it. It was really fun for me and my friends.

- the Korean Language Program in Cheongju : how does it work, the examination test, nationalities, teachers, lessons, homeworks etc. Basically all the basic information and my first impressions. Feel free to ask stuff about that in my askbox.

- The University festival which was on Wednesday and Thursday. I have a few low-quality videos but I don’t know if I’ll post it.

- English conversations I organize every Monday afternoon.

Vocab list : On the phone

To call someone / donner un coup de téléphone : 전화를 걸다

To pick up the phone / décrocher le téléphone : 전화를 받다

To talk on the phone / parler au téléphone : 통화를 하다

To hang up / raccrocher : 전화를 끊다

To dial a wrong number / composer un mauvais numéro : 전화를 잘못 하다

To put through / passer le téléphone à quelqu’un : 전화를 바꿔 주다

*Please note that if you want to use the honorific form - when talking about your grandfather or teacher for example - you should use “댁” instead of “ 집“. ex: 거기 선생님 댁이죠 ?
