God has been teaching me about His Love and joy and peace, and this Verse has been on my heart after I've gone back to the post a few times today, the Holy Spirit has been reminding me. It's so powerful.

During times of distress we have shelter and peace in Jesus and we can still rejoice because God is our Refuge and in His Presence is fullness of Joy.

the times when you want to pray the least are when you need to pray the most.

God doesn’t care that you feel too bad for Him. That emotion is the Devil talking and you need to rebuke that in Jesus’ name. He cares about you, because he is a personal being who has direct value in your life. so pray. Even if its just ‘Jesus I need you’

Emotions are temporary but the glory of God is forever.

And emotions are imperfect but the Glory of God is Perfect!

Emotions change and fluctuate and are unreliable. With God is no variation nor shadow of turning! His Glory is Eternal and lovely and constant!

Overall great sentiment in this post. However, statements such as the following are just not accurate or true: "God doesn't care that you feel too bad for him." Statements like that just hurt my heart. The rest of this post is very solid, but God cares about every single thing that has to do with us. Even our deepest and darkest of sinful actions, thoughts, and emotions. He cares immensely about these as well. Why? Precisely because he loves us. Feeling emotionally too bad to pray is a problem, and it's not an excuse, but yes, God does care about this. Because it means that if we really feel this way, especially if we serve him, we are being deeply afflicted and affected in someway. It's at these times that he holds us the closest whether we realize it or not.

Today's Prayer ✝️

God, today I ask for Your guidance in every area of my life. Order my steps, grant me wisdom in every decision, and help me see the path You want me to walk. When I feel uncertain, remind me that You are leading me. Help me not to lean only on my own understanding, but to trust Your direction even when I don’t see the full picture. Fill me with peace as I move forward and confidence that You are guiding me where I need to be. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
