Whenever people look at me, a gnc lesbian with a buzzcut, no makeup, and unshaven body hair, and ask me my pronouns, all I hear is “I see you’re not being a woman correctly. Do you want me to pretend you’re not a woman?”

can’t belive there are people under this post going “naaaaah. you can just do whatever you want and it totally won’t be influenced by patriarchy :) don’t worry”. it’s been a decade. diane nguyen come back. it’s getting worse.
I heard this metaphor growing up, and in my case, it backfired supremely, because I went out into my neighbor's backyard where a rose bush was growing, and the one I tested had like 30 petals (it was yellow, but definitely a rose of some kind), and as a very logical lass, I came to the conclusion that you could have premarital sex AT LEAST ten times before your future husband would even notice something was up. Moral of the story? Test your metaphors on the weirdest and most neurodivergent child you know before writing your weird religious propaganda.
I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT BUT IT'S NOT THIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Just to clear some things up
What "sex is binary" means :
There are only two sexes
Variations of the sexes are not a third sex
Everyone is either male or female
What "sex is binary" DOESN'T mean :
All people are typical of their sex
There is no variation between the sexes
The two sexes are 100% distincts in humans
People with variations should be corrected
Atypical people are "less" of their sex
Sex characteristics can never change
You can only be your sex in one way
Only typical people have a valid experience
It’s always “the only good fascist is a dead fascist” until somebody actually kills a fascist and then it’s “well killing someone over a difference of opinion is never right, we should have empathy”
Masculine women and tomboys being labeled as pick-mes is a psyop btw
so funny when 20yo women belittle women in their late 20s, girl that is gonna be you in a time span that’s gonna feel like 3 seconds
“pushing 30 and [having a hobby]” well yes
I actually love it when the bus driver goes fast af and runs the red lights like fuck it were youngggggg
it’s amazing how most of tumblr is able to comprehend “making jokes about wanting to die make you feel worse” but not “masturbating to women being raped makes you more attracted to rape”. Hell they’re sooner able to agree rape jokes are distasteful than rape kinks
“Citizens of St Petersburg are sunbathing on the graveyard because local beaches are crowded”
Why don’t (some) people on here see the difference between
“I respect trans people and the struggles they go through, but many women’s issues do not apply to trans women, therefore trans women don’t need to be included in those spaces. Nor would I enjoy sex with a penis.”
And
“I think trans people are disgusting, I have no respect for them, their bodies and minds are gross, they should all just die.”
It’s what happens when you’re a closed-minded extremist.

people trip me out when they say shit like “oh i miss being 10 years old and not having problems” like the fuck you mean you didn’t have problems
Nothing like holding my love
All until you have a bunch of shit pointlessly collecting dust at your house. Why are people these days yearning to hoard?
Shushhhhhhhhh younge radfem....physical media is the way to go, still pirate what you can heheh
being able to own the media you've purchased instead of having it randomly taken away from you due to licensing issues is empowerment. this isn't just music or movies, we're talking books and art. a company being able to flippantly decide when you have access to a book is bad. physical media removes that middle man.
Do you fellow people forget that you can download things? Save 'em neatly on a drive, disc, whatever? You don't need 200 CDs, I promise. Just get a pendrive.
"All until you have a bunch of shit pointlessly collecting dust at your house. Why are people these days yearning to hoard?"
A bunch of shit? Pointlessly collecting dust?
I'll have you know it is not sitting around collecting dust. I play my CDs. I watch my shows and movies on DVD. My books are stored lovingly in shelves I can access at a moment's notice, without logging on, charging a battery, or paying a monthly fee.
And there is art in the display of your media. I LOVE looking at the cover art, the little booklets, etc.
Yes, I "hoard". But what are libraries, if not "hoards" of knowledge, storytelling and expression?
Libraries are not comparable here. A library is a communal space with a singular copy of each book that people can borrow at any time then return it once they are done. They can borrow it repeatedly if they want. You're comparing this communal space to a private ownership of multiple books which you are likely to read 1-3 times then move on to new ones. Multiply this by however many people have a copy of the same book and imagine the resources wasted on it. Keep in mind I'm not saying it's wasteful to own a copy of whatever media you enjoy for a long time. I'm saying it is wasteful because, realistically, people no longer appreciate one item like they did back in the day. They continue to consume and hoard till it's eventually thrown away.
I still got all my old books from when I was 6. All my favorite CDs and DVDs. They've been with me through multiple moves and it's a chore to drag all those things around, especially since I no longer need them. I may complain about technology, but I can't deny that it made storing things I like much easier and less wasteful.
Resources wasted on *checks notes* owning books you read and like. Ok...
Girl donate the shit you don't use or want around and stop acting like others who collect and enjoy their hobbies with physical copies of media are wasteful and the weird ones here. That's literally a skill issue on your part.
Re-check the notes, maybe? 🤔
Still a dumb thing to say no matter if you wanna "to each their own it" lmao
