From the U.S.: This is an arrangement of Toledo, composed by the late Ralph Towner. We lost this visionary composer/guitarist/keyboardist from Rome, Italy, last week, and I am posting this arrangement for string orchestra in his honor. Towner was a prolific virtuoso who performed with the instrumental group, Oregon, and his own Solstice Quartet, among many others.
From Switzerland: Return To Forever performs Vulcan Worlds Live at Montreux. Written by Stanley Clark, Vulcan Worlds and originally recorded on the 1974 RTF album "Where Have I Known You Before" and is performed on Returns, the live album by Return to Forever. Band members are Chick Corea (Yamaha grand piano C3MP, Rhodes Midi Piano Mark V, Minimoog Voyager, Sequential Circuits Prophet-5, Yamaha Motif); Al Di Meola (acoustic and electric guitar); Stanley Clarke (electric and acoustic bass); and Lenny White (drums).
