Sun heads to the boat early in the morning. Moon already was on it, getting everything set up.

“Eclipse, you sure you don’t wanna join?”

“Yea, I should probably stay at the shop. I did promise Lunar, and Hunter would kill me if I broke it.”

Sun sighs, before joining Moon.

“See ya Clipsey.”

“I told you to not call me that!”

Moon chuckles, as he unties the rope, and the boat is off. Both knew what to do, having done it thousands of times before. Find anything worth selling, and catch fish. After getting far out, Moon grabs the rod and throws the string bait out. Sun sets up the net, also throwing it out to sea.

After an hour or so of chitchat and catching some fish, the net feels heavy. It takes both Sun and Moon to pull it out, but to surprise, it was empty. It looked like something had chewed it’s way out.

“Dang it! Now we have to buy a new one!”

“Moon.. calm down-“

Something hit the boat, then again. Iver and iver it was getting hit, tilting every time, till it got pushed over.

“Su- sun!”

Moon had very quickly grabbed ahold of the tilt over boat, but Sun was not as lucky. He started panicking, looking around for what pushed the boat. Something caught his eye. It was a shadowy figure, all he could see was the glare of its eyes. Then it left. Before he could follow, Moon pulled him up.

“You good?”

Sun nods, as Moon worryingly checks him over. Then, snapping out of it, Sun helps Moon flip the boat over, then both agree to leave for now. But they would be back.

Short Answer: Wacky FNAF roleplay series.

Long Answer: The most popular of a group of channels called the Security Breach Shows (a network of channels similar to tsams, all with different characters) following an AU of Sundrop and Moondrop where they seperated bodies before the start of the series, leading Moon's killcode to spawn into Eclipse. Antics and horrific emotional distress ensue. It's been running with daily uploads for roughly three years now so we've strayed almost completely from it's roots but that's what it boils down too. Also interdimensional travel exists don't question it.

As for why everyone's obsessed with it?

good show with prime fanwork material that happens to star the two most hyperfixated on characters in the franchise

and to answer your other questions:

Solar and Lunar are two of many many many fanon characters original to the show. Both of their origins are a bit of a mouthful but to cut it short Lunar is their adopted younger brother with issues and Solar is an alternate dimension version of Eclipse; he's their cousin-brother-stepbrother-thing

It's in VRchat because all the shows are. I actually don't know why.
