hello I am Kara and this is my side blog for me specifically. I don’t know, maybe it will be fun. Ask me literally anything. Some things about me. I’m the demon memory holder in the system. I hold the memories of our life as a demon. I’m the one in the system who identifies as a demon. Deal with it. I suppose I’m a trauma holder. Some other system members identify as demons, but im the only one who holds memories of THIS universe and being a demon. I curse a lot, so if you don’t like that fuck off. Interact with this idk. Hot take that some systems might be slightly peeved by but it’s the truth

talking about your alters in a negative light or talking about how they suck or you want to get rid of them is self harm and self sabotage. It’s ok to talk about alters not getting along. No system gets along and it’s happy. But there’s a way to talk about that without telling people that your alters suck or you want them gone because you know what that’s going to cause? More disagreements. More pain. More suffering. This isn’t a separate person who you can block and move on. This is a part of all of you that needs healing and you need to take responsibility to help that part move on. It needs to be dealt with. Sorry. It’s not helpful to talk about your alters in a bad way. Nor is it healthy.

PSA: your alters won’t go away. Deal with it.

I see so many young systems voice things like “I hate all my alters” “I just want to get into therapy and finally fuse so that my alters will go away”. YOUR ALTERS ARE YOU. Let me just reiterate that. They are dissociated parts of you. They are you and not you at the same time. Negative self talk towards them will only harbor resentment and make your life harder. I cannot stress this enough. You think your life is hard now? Wait until your alters hate you and start actively sabotaging your life. Your alters are people too, that deserve to be heard. You all are traumatized. You all live in the same head. You have to figure it out. And get along. Because you are all in this together. And harboring resentment and pain towards your alters isn’t going to do shit for you. So get to know your alters and stop whining about how you hate them so much. That isn’t going to help.
