JF: that's really down to Mr. Linnell. Over the years I feel like he enjoys the full flexibility of the keyboard, and all the sonic flexibility that is available to him in recording settings. I also suspect the weight of the old accordion in the live show got kind of dreary after a while, and thus the move to the more nimble and lightweight Main Drag accordion.
