Miss Peregrine’s Home (Movie)

So I just went and saw Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children. I own all the books, and loved them. The movie was interesting, and quite different from the book. I’m mostly fine with that, I think the only discrepancy that really bothers me is them switching around Emma and Olive’s peculiarities, I cannot take un-fiery Emma seriously. 

Other than the kinda goofy villain, though, I think I rather enjoyed it! It was alright, at least. I think going in knowing it would be a fair bit different from the book is what made it more acceptable to me. Also it puts me at ease knowing Ransom Riggs was cool with the changes (even if I myself still can’t get over the Emma-Olive switcheroo).
