Ako rin, mula noon hanggang ngayon, wala paring nagbago sa mga nagustuhan ko sayo. Wala ka paring kahirap-hirap patawanin, pasayahin at mahalin. Nung nagkita tayo, alam ko naman na magiging masaya tayo, pero hindi ito naabot ng alam ko. Isang taon na magulo, hindi tama, bawal, bakit-ganon, hindi-pwede at marami pang nakaharang, nalampasan natin yun lahat. Salamat kasi naglakas-loob tayong dalawa na sumubok, naging matapang at sundin ang nararamdaman. "Regular na ko" sabi ko kagabi. Kumbaga, nalampasan na natin ang crucial stage daw. Pero para sakin, ang araw na ito ang magpapaalala kung paano tayo lumaban. Sa araw araw, sa bawat problema at alinlangan. Sabay nating ginawang sigurado ang lahat ng hindi. Sabay nating nilinaw ang lahat ng malabo. Sabay nating pinag-isa ang mga dating kani-kaniyang atin. Sabay nating ginuhit ang ating sariling buhay na gusto natin, na kung saan ay masaya tayo, na lagi nating pangarap noon. Natatawa rin ako at natutuwa kase "dati iniisip ko lang kung meron bang katulad mo." Meron pala. Binigyan mo ko ng bagong pananaw sa buhay. Sa kung paano maging masaya. Sa kung paano magmahal. Sa kung paano maging malaya. Kaytagal kitang hinintay. At sa "tagal" na yon, may mga masasakit, may mga malulungkot at may mga pagsisisi. Pero hindi pala dapat. Kasi bawat isa sa mga iyon ay ang mga bagay na nagturo sakin kung nasaan ka. Kung saan kita makikita. At kung saan tayo magsisimula. Nakulitan na siguro si Lord sakin. Dasal. Panalangin. Prayers. Kulang nalang isama rin kita sa prayer requests tuwing prayer meeting. Jusko. Pinakaba pa ako ng Panginoon. Ipagkakatiwala ka rin pala niya sa akin. Gusto kong masaktan. Lagi kong gugustuhing maramdaman yung sakit sa tuwing aawayin mo ko kase gusto mo lang na suyuin kita. Yung bigla nalang akong gagawa ng mga desisyon para maging okay na tayo. Palagi akong handang tumaya. Kung alam ko lang, hindi sana ako nag-absent sa Risk Management subject ko nung college. Pero hindi eh. Lagi kong gugustuhing kabahan, mapraning, mabuang sa kakaisip sa mga bagay bagay. Kase alam ko sa huli, meron tayong palagiang kasiguraduhan. Na gaano man kabilis at kadalas magpalit ng mga bagay bagay, mananatili tayong nakakakapit sa isa't isa. Hindi ako hihinto. Habambuhay kitang papangarapin. Maligayang Unang Taon, Mahal!

Why lovers can’t be friends.
When you break up with a person, you don't lose just one person. You lose a lot. You lose a lot of things, a lot of people. They take away the moments you spent with them. They take away that time you put in to build that kind of life. They take away friends -their friends whom you had started liking and some who had become good friends. They take away those songs you used to listen when you were together. Those lanes where you used to walk. Those movies you watched with them. And the ones which you didn't but were going to. They take away the person you had become when you were with them. Your identity you had associated yourself with. You were theirs for so long- being someone else's was a part of your identity. They take away those small things you had saved- now you have no use of the ticket from your first movie or the gift wrappers you managed to save. They take away those smiles you smiled when someone teased you with their name. They take away those Facebook tags and photos and status updates which are now meaningless. They take away those tears, because you will never cry for the same things again, not for another person.
