I started playing Tag Force 5 again.

So much of my youth was spent playing Tag Forces 1-3.

My god though, things got so competitive towards the later games.

Everyone is running Bottomless Trap Hole, Brain Control, Dark Bribe, Giant Trunade, Heavy Storm, Lightning Vortex, Mirror Force, Solemn Judgement, Gorz, Torrential Tribute and more.

If I never saw Demise, King of Armageddon or Judgement Dragon again, I'd be pretty happy. And a special f*ck you to Archlord Kristya.

Literally my only deck that's competitive against the insanity is my Monarchs deck which can sometimes win by turn 3.

I imagine modern Yugioh is even worse if the meta is hand traps (or so I've been told).

Seriously, how do people win against Simon without the most broken decks in existence?

I feel like Monarchs and probably some kind of OTK Exodia deck is the only way.

I have never seen so much removal in my life.

This man runs Chaos Sorcerer and Grand Mole. Two cards that should be put on the ban list.

I think I'm finally almost willing to dive back into 9-1-1 again.

The funny thing about dipping into a different fandom with a very toxic element was that it made me realise:

a.) this fandom makes that fandom look tame, and

b.) that fandom makes the 9-1-1 fandom look slightly less horrifying because what's controversy over there is Tuesday over here.

It somehow balances itself out.

Like the other fandom just had a fan journo publish a pretty professional opinion piece in a news outlet which touched on a ship they like and somehow that's cause for controversy? It certainly got the x-bird platform all excited.

That happens every single day in the 9-1-1 fandom and WAY more blatantly and problematically. Yet from some of the reactions over in the other fandom you'd think the author in question had shot someone in the face.

Those poor naive fools. They haven't even seen the full scope of the toxicity and horror that fandom can be.

Some of that fandom think a canon ship is toxic? They have no idea what a canon ship over on 9-1-1 has had to endure, and how toxic a non-canon ship can be.
