My family is moving, so a lot of things are getting sold/given away and my Mom just called to tell me that someone was here to pick up pool table balls, no payment

So I go get the box and ask the guy who answered the door if he was here for the pool table balls, handed them over and he put his hand out and I thought he was going for a fist bump but after already putting my hand up for a fist bump I realized he had something in his hand

I changed what I was doing and was surprised to see a coin dropped into my hand and he was like 'to trade you' and all I could do was say thank you and close the door instead of the whole 'oh don't worry about it' and when he insists I keep it the following 'well thank you so much' as would usually be polite? Or something like that anyways

I love little knickknacks so I appreciate the coin

Sometimes I get imposter syndrome over my health (this morning) and then I do one thing (bring a vacuum upstairs, vacuum my room, and bring it back downstairs) and then not long after my hip starts hurting, and doesn't stop and every once in a while it feels like it's burning :/

For those interested-

Abra (yellow mon on the left) can be difficult to catch because in the wild it knows no move other than teleport

Teleport is a move that causes wild pokémon to leave the battle, and a wild pokémon can’t not attack- so first turn Abra will always use teleport and leave

Now there are some things that can stop this from happening: status moves that sleep or freeze Abra and guarantee it can’t teleport at all for a time; other status moves that confuse or paralyze Abra so that there’s a chance it can’t teleport; moves that cause it to flinch; or items/abilities that would prevent escape. I was early in the run and didn’t didn’t have any of these moves or items

In pokerogue (a sort of fan game) each time a run is started the rng of opponents moves are set, so if a move will miss/crit/hit is predetermined unless you have a move to change what the opponent does, like status moves, etc. This means that I can’t reset the encounter and hope that Abra eventually misses the teleport attack

In all pokémon games you can’t throw a pokeball in a double battle until one of the mons are knocked out, so I also can’t just throw a pokeball on the first turn and hope to catch Abra before it can teleport

Normally I might not care about this Abra rn, but those stars/sparkles around it indicate that it’s a shiny pokémon. Shiny pokémon aren’t typically better than a regular one, but they are a lot rarer (1/2000 encounter odds) and in pokerogue they add a luck stat, which I won’t get into- at the end of the day it’s fun to have shinies and s I’ve just laid out, there is no way for me to catch this Abra
