I can't believe we live in a world where there's an AI company unironically called "Palantir," and it isn't a parody. It's a real thing. I remember seeing a picture of an advertisement on here and thinking, "This HAS to be a joke. This is too on-the-nose to be real. They wouldn't honestly name an AI company Palantir, after the Seeing Stones from Lord of the Rings that are supposed to offer knowledge, but famously also might be feeding you misinformation from evil sources because 'we do not know who else may be watching.'" But then here I am listening to the BBC News discussing why the CEO of Palantir just published a Manifesto that sounds like it was written by a supervillain.

im not over that segment from last night

roman essentially a mafia boss with how he talks, his posture, demeanor, and a whole ass security detail following him (which correlates with paul heyman revealing that roman clears out entire restaurants so he can dine to himself)

meanwhile cody with the bruce wayne/oliver queen "billionaire vigilante who pours his resources into protecting the city and those closest to him". he thinks with his heart, even if it gets him in trouble nine times out of ten.

so basically, the mafia boss and the superhero, both with different motives, have to team up to take down the larger threat that not only looms over them, but the entire city wwe.

in other words, this is a cw dc show.

this might be a hot take but i actually don’t think humans were meant to know what is going on in everyone’s lives all over the world every second of the day and constantly be available for conversations or collaborations or call-ins for work and texts and phone calls and social media posts without end. i think we were supposed to just help the people around us and spend time with our family and friends and eat yummy bread and berries and relax

I am once again petitioning for more characters with glasses. Our eyes are not getting better in the future with even more people needing visual aids and I'd like to see myself represented more, not just in the occasional "nerdy" character.
