My breakfast has recently been bulletproof coffee (my way) - a moka pot of coffee, teaspoon of Swerve, teaspoon of unsweetened cocoa, one tablespoon of coconut oil and one tablespoon of butter. It usually keeps me full until about 11:30 a.m. But trying to do 2 meals of keto chow means that I’m trying to move to an all liquid diet. Although I do try to log everything in Chronometer and add a bit of extra protein if I find I’m missing it.
this cast iron salmon and homemade coconut soup will blow your mind 🤯 http://bit.ly/2xp95wr

The hardest thing about living in NYC is the plethora of instant food options available. But NSV? Just came away from the buffet with a caprese salad and some seafood salad bits.
Along with everything keto, I’ve been using Keto Chow on and off. Sometimes I don’t find myself too hungry, and that’s when I think just having one shake is enough for dinner or something. Today is the first time I tried Keto Chow 2.1 - chocolate peanut butter. It’s less sweet than Keto Chow 2.0 which I like. The mouth feel is less slimy too. A+ so far.

I first heard about keto at the beginning of 2017. I tried to do it then but had a bunch of things crop up in my personal life (new apartment, new job, travelling, etc.) which made it hard to stick. And culturally, I love carbs! I love fried foods, I love rice. I’m a bit of a foodie as well, and fresh loaves of bread, fresh rolled pasta... unghhhh. But I guess as I was getting older, my metabolism is slowing down. I’m at the heaviest that I’m ever been, and this has got to stop.
But that doesn’t make keto any easier. I started this to hopefully microblog whenever I find it too hard to keep keto. Like right now. Hungry. Struggling.
