One of my favorite Ancient Egyptian gods, Sekhmet. My favorite story about her involves her going on a blood-drinking rampage. She was only stopped after being tricked into drinking red colored beer.

Im Hotep y'all,

Struggling with college lately and I just feel lost, tired and burnt out. However I have needed to ground myself and take the time to remember how the Netjeru have been watching over me.

Seth has helped me ride the eye of the storm of bullshit I've been experiencing. Dua Seth!

Sobek has promised me that if I ride the river of my struggles, I will eventually arrive on a new shore full of hope. Dua Sobek!

Sekhmet has given me strength and courage to push through no matter what. Dua Sekhmet!

Bastet has watched over me, primarily through my pet cat, Beez, who I'm cuddling right now. Dua Bastet!

So thank you, mighty Netjeru for carrying me through this cathartic time in my life. I know I'll survive but for now I know that I do not struggle alone.

Just wanted to share this not only for my peace of mind, but also just in case anyone feels like they need to remember what their deities have done for them. Even when it feels like you're all alone in the dark.
