I think its time... To introduce you to someone... and to something, that this somewhone hat started a tiny while again (And will ab-so-lutely continue!)
Who and what I mean? Well... I mean... Henry Cogsworth of course! Who came into our (and specialy MY) world... In the form a complete handmade (by me...) BJD! (Ball Jointed Doll)
And henry had lived with me and my husband for quite a while now, so he (and we...) desidet he could come with us to our holliday in Scotland!
And what did Henry do... Of course he wrote a journal about it!
And he wanted to share it with you and the world, soooo...
Here we go:
He will continue to post more, but it takes a lot of time for him (And me...) so we can't quite say when the next entry will come... But it definetly WILL come, so...

We're creating fanworks celebrating all variations of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast! Save the date and start drafting your creations!
Anyone can join, and all types of fandom works are welcome: fanfic, fanart, podfic, gifsets, edits, mood boards, memes, etc. Each work must contain at least one Disney BatB character (crossovers, OCs, and reader-inserts are allowed too!), be newly created for the event, and not use AI. There will be some new aspects to the event this year: a podfic exchange and beta reading exchange. More info on these in about a month. Edit: the podfic exchange is now open to everyone! Follow this blog so you don’t miss future announcements!
Last year, our prompts were about plants, but this year, our theme is “Beasts of every kind,” with a different animal prompt for each day. The idea is not that you create something literally about that animal (though you could), but that you think of things metaphorically associated with it and use that as inspiration.

I knew that Cogsworth in the live action had a wife, BUT I DIDN'T KNOW THAT IN THE CONCEPTS OF THE ANIMATED FILM AS WELL, AND ALSO CHILDREN 😨 (Although it is true that the wife's design is beautiful)
Ok, I HATED His wife in the live action movie (To be clear: The Character, not the woman who played her!) and Lumiere Looked quite starnge in that concept, but... Cogsi as a 4time father? And with that truely beautiful wife? And the little baby clock?

Beauty and the Beast Week 2024 is just around the corner! Here's what you need to know for posting your fanwork:
Post your work on the day of the prompt you're using.
Post to AO3, Instagram, Tumblr, FFN, Twitter, Wattpad, or wherever you post your stuff.
For fic, there's an AO3 collection named “beauty_beast_week_2024” set up for the event here. To add to the collection, you can either follow the link and click "post to collection," or you can post a new work on your own and search for "beauty_beast_week_2024" in the "collections" line. If you're having trouble, feel free to DM and we’ll walk you through it. Here's when to post to the collection:
Works for day 1, daffodil: This is the only prompt that you can post to the collection ahead of time, because all the works in the collection are currently hidden. We will reveal the entire collection on September 23, so that's when any works posted to the collection before that date will go live. You can also just wait until September 23 to post a day 1 work.
Works for days 2-7: After September 23, for days 2-7, post on the designated posting day for your prompt.

writing fanfiction is just. i’m being so creative and original. i’m plagiarizing everyone by accident. i’m a genius. i’m cringe. i’m too angsty. i’m too cheesy. this is not in character. it doesn’t matter that it’s not in character because these are my characters now. i love my hobby. this is the worst possible use of my time. i’m seeking validation. i’m projecting my own personal problems onto this story and i’m barely hiding it. i know so many words and i’m using all of them wrong. im on tumblr posting about it instead of writing it.
I was in the mood to rewamp my beastinary I plan to create for my Menagerie, so here's my first creature, the cloud dragon!

be proud of your original characters. it's no easy task to create a character from scratch, to make them believable and real and human. it takes time. it takes dedication. so what if they aren't perfect right away? so what if there are still things you're only now figuring out after time? characters evolve, they go through changes and arcs and stories just like real people do. and it's okay if your character develops over time, you don't need to have it all figured out right away. there are some things that will only ever clear up after writing them for a while, finding their voice, and seeing the way they interact with other characters. but this is your character, your creation, and you deserve to feel proud about it no matter what.
Won't be able to finish this befor we go on our honeymoon (which is already tomorrow…), but I want to show you at least a little W.I.P. befor I be gone for nearly 3 weeks. Hope you like it! Read ya, when I'm back! ^^

My fanart of Henry and his beloved wife Estelle, expecting they very first child! (A bit of story is posted below the pic, this time in english and german.)
It's the first (but not chronological first) picture of a little "series" I'm planing (and hopefully bringing to an end...). Some moments in the life of Cogsworth, as in the fanfiction I have in mind.
Oh, and in the end, all pictures of the series will become one, big, log picture, thats why I designed the pillars in the forground the way they are. ^^
Monsieur Cogsworth neglecting his duties as majordomo was as typical as snow in midsummer! But the fact that he was now doing exactly this more and more often would surely have caused everyone in the castle deep concern if there had not been a good reason for his behaviour. And oh, what a wonderful reason that was!
He was just walking down one of the sunlit corridors of the castle with his wife Estelle, when she paused and caught her breath a little. Immediately the majordomo was visibly worried about her, but before he could say anything, she smiled at him and said calmingly:
"Don't worry, I'm just a little out of breath. Our offspring are not getting any lighter as the days go by!"
She laughed and Cogsworth couldn't help but admire how much she was beaming. He smiled too, as he now stood behind her so that she could lean on him a little. So they stood there in silence, enjoying this wonderfully peaceful moment. Estelle had both arms around her bulging baby belly, and Henry's left hand also rested gently on it. He still couldn't believe that he would soon be a father!
Estelle looked to him, then leaned her head against his cheek and whispered:
"I love you!"
And he replied just as softly:
"I love you too."
But after a moment he added lovingly:
"Both of you."
Das Herr von Unruh seine Pflichten als Haushofmeister vernachlässigte war so typisch wie Schnee im Hochsommer! Das er jetzt aber genau dies immer öfter tat hätte sicher jeden im Schloss in tiefe Besorgnis gestürzt, wenn es für sein Verhalten nicht einen triftigen Grund gegeben hätte. Und oh, was für ein wunderbarer Grund das war!
Gerade schritt er mit seiner Frau Estelle einen der Sonnendurchfluteten Flure des Schlosses entlang, als Estelle inne hielt und ein wenig nach Atem rang. Sofort war der Haushofmeister sichtlich in Sorge um seine Frau, doch noch ehe er etwas sagen konnte, lächelte sie in an und meinte beruhigend:
"Keine Angst, ich bin nur ein wenig außer Atmen. Unser Nachwuchs wird mit den Tagen nicht gerade leichter!"
Sie lachte, und Von Unruh kam nicht umhin zu bewundern wie sehr sie strahlte. Auch er lächelte, als er sich nun hinter sie stellte, so das sie sich ein wenig an ihn anlehnen konnte. So standen sie schweigend da und genossen dieses wunderbar friedlichen Augenblick. Estelle hatte beide Arme um ihren prallen Babybauch gelegt, und auch Henrys linke Hand ruhte sanft auf diesem. Er konnte es immer noch nicht wirklich fassen, das er bald Vater sein würde!
Estelle sah zu ihm, dann lehnte sie ihren Kopf an seine Wange und flüsterte:
"Ich liebe dich!"
Und er erwiderte ebenso leise:
"Ich liebe dich auch."
Doch nach einem Augenblick fügte er liebevoll hinzu:
"Euch beide."
