No, he isn't. He lost an eye confronting Amarantha, something none of the High Lords did, He went after Vassa alone after Elain's vision. He guided Drakon and the fleet of ships to war, He refused to give Feyre's name to Rhysand, warned her about the Worm during Amarantha's trial knowing he would probably be killed for it, and it was a close call, only because Tamlin prevented him. And he didn't even back down when Cassian and Azriel tried to overpower him. "The cunning fox faces winged death."
No, he isn't. His beauty was one of the most praised aspects of the books, even Amren and the King of Hybern have said he's handsome. SJM said in CHD that Elain knows he's hot, and Feyre herself says Lucien is gorgeous even with the scar. You're quick to call him ugly, but you start crying when someone says they find a certain character prettier than Elain. It doesn't even get to the point of calling Elain ugly; just someone saying they find Gwyn prettier is enough to open the gates of hell and start crying.
"But Lucien handed Feyre's sisters over to the King of Hybern."
It was Ianthe who handed them over, Feyre herself says in the narration that she told Ianthe where they were. Even Tamlin is shocked to learn this, as is Lucien, since he wasn't the one who handed them over.
Lucien never forced anyone to kiss him, never forced a deal in exchange for saving Feyre's life, never forced Elain to do anything. The only time Lucien TOUCHES Elain is when he covers her body with his coat after she leaves the Cauldron.
"Lucien is insignificant"
Lucien is one of the only characters who appears in all the books, he was one of the first to appear in the story, SJM has already said that he is one of her favorites, and without Lucien, Feyre would have died in Under the Mountain from the Worm or the Wounds if he hadn't healed her, nor would she have reached the part of solving the enigma.

Were you there? As far as I know, we were in Feyre's POV. Lucien explicitly says he was going to try to talk to Tamlin, as he had done when Feyre wanted to train and he forbade it. We don't know what Lucien did, what Lucien said, because Feyre herself doesn't know. But he tried. If even Azriel couldn't defy his High Lord's Order, Lucien at least tried, and even left with Feyre afterward.
"But he's still Tamlin's friend, he still comes back to visit him."
Applause for him, proving his loyalty to the guy who literally saved his life and served as his emissary for years. If even Rhysand went there to see if Tamlin was feeding properly and even Feyre has forgiven Tamlin, now Lucien doing this is betrayal.

Then she should come and tell him to his face instead of avoiding it as if it will magically disappear. The instant she tells him that, I'm SURE Lucien will never show his face to her again.

Azriel was the one who literally did that. Questioning the Cauldron about why she was given to another as if she were a trophy, forbidding her from being more active in the IC when SHE HERSELF said she wanted to. Saying that she didn't need anything and that they were the ones who needed it, when she literally begged for sunlight.
Lucien never forced Elain to accept him, he simply treats his partner with kindness, bringing her gifts he knows she likes and even calling her MA'AM! Not "the third sister".
Lucien never even mentioned it. It's Rhysand who does it, and it's Azriel who says he would defeat him without even caring if Lucien's death would bring PAIN to Elain, instead of simply telling Rhysand that this is something Elain DEFINITELY wouldn't want, after all, she herself says she's not a child to be fought over.
It's far more likely that Lucien is thinking about the next gift he's going to buy her while Azriel is talking about this damn Blood Rite.

Literally a few lines after LUCIEN ordered them to do it. Amren had already spoken up and nobody did anything. Lucien and Feyre stayed MONTHS in the Spring Court and nobody took her anywhere until Lucien arrived and ordered them to. Because Lucien could NOT, as he was forbidden from getting near her.
"But Lucien tries to get close to Elain by force."
Feyre and the Healer told him to do that to find out what was wrong with her. I even see many of you saying that it was Azriel who discovered her powers. In fact, the point you forget is that the Healer said that only her mate would know what she NEEDED, not what she WAS. And in fact, it was Lucien who said to take her out into the sun, and guess what Elain asks for? Sunlight.
It's curious that Lucien is the only son of the High Lord of the Day Court, whose name literally means light.
