There are a lot of perks to being married, but this week has definitely been one of the bigger ones. My husband surprised me for our anniversary with a week long vacation to Málaga, and I’m feeling so spoiled right now! It’s nice to be back, but I can’t lie, it was really nice to get away for a little bit. Also, this is completely off the record because I’m a teacher, but don’t be fooled, high school Spanish? Not necessary. Not once did I have to ask directions to the school, tell anyone my hair color, or talk about animals.

I’m so jealous right now that I’m actually pouting. Spain in general looks gorgeous --- I’d love to go to Madrid, Valencia or Barcelona --- but I just looked at pictures of Málaga online and now I feel like crying. Thanks for having the perfect life~

I’ve been thinking a lot about (my) life lately and I think I’ve finally processed and acknowledged that I might be a few years of thirty, but I still have a whole life to lead; there’s still so many places to explore, adventures to be had and all. With that in mind, would anyone care to join me for my first trip to Motta Adventure Land? For some reason I haven’t yet been, and it might be good to change that. Plus it should be fun! 

I haven’t gotten a chance to actually try out the rides, which is a shame, but I don’t really have time for it? But I don’t want the summer to end and for everything to close down before I get to check out the fun. If you haven’t found someone, I’d make time and be down.

You know what sucks? Being sick during the summer. My lungs still hurt from this stupid cough I had the past few days and whenever I go outside to actually do something with my life, my body slams on the breaks and bam, I’m back in bed. 

The fact that you said ‘whenever I go outside’ means that you’re constantly trying to go outside when you’re still sick --- and, can I just say that it’s a stupid idea to continuously do something that’s just not working? Stay in bed, drink lots of OJ and dayquil/nyquil. You’ll be fine in no time, and then you can go out and do stuff and things. Listen to me. I’m right.
