The Story of this Enzyme: The Roselle crop is a joint effort between a Foundation and the farmers in Kg Mangkapoh, Ranau. After an earthquake in that area, The bridge to the village collapsed and two girls were killed, trying to cross the river. So, a bridge was built to assist this village. After the construction of the bridge, the foundation wanted to do more and to help build the community. They provided seedlings of Roselle to the farmers and out of this, they purchased its crops at an above market value. This initial harvest was from a 1 acre land which was just a trial run. There was a bumper of harvest for the productions of enzyme for drinking. Natural farming is used and only molasses are used. The future plan for subsequent harvest is to develop them into jam, dried fruits and tea. We are helping to promote and sell this enzyme and give back into their village community.
