yao being the first to die is actually plaguing me so bad. everything hurts. what do you mean. his method of suicide was a gun, so fucking violent but so effective. he was going to wait until his crew went, in case they needed a way out because something happened. he was the captain. he was going to be the last one alive. he died first.

unraveling at the seams thinking about how graces reaction to remembering that he was drugged and forced onto the mission was to come to the conclusion that he was a coward. like on some level sure he was angry at stratt but he was far angrier with himself. he built up this story in his head that somewhere somehow along the way he developed the courage and bravery to choose to sacrifice himself for earths sake. he clung to this story when he didnt have anything else. and it wasnt real. not only was he a vicious coward but he threatened to sabotage a mission to save the entire world because his desire to live was so overpowering. there was nothing that couldve convinced him otherwise. not his kids, not the rest of humanity, nothing. and he tears himself APARTTTTT for this. if you want rocky to get this secret out of grace youre gonna need twelve hours, some elbow grease, and industrial grade lube thats how deep the shame lies. i think grace is incredibly angry about how it all went down and i also think that if you told him he didnt deserve it he'd probably bite your head off
just found out one of my best friends irl is a system ! she's known for over half a decade but she only just found the means to let me know. you know how prevalence of this type of existence is estimated to be roughly as common as redheads, if not more? IT'S TRUE. you could be interacting with systems every day!!!! I know it gets so lonely but there are so many people going about their lives as part of a system. plurality is a normal variation of the human experience and it's all around you. we're all gonna be okay I think

The problem with being low support needs is that people mentally autocorrect that to āno support needsā and then proceed to give you absolutely nothing and then get surprised when you implode after six months.
